baby eczema

lots of advise some conflicting. I think his mom is going to see a skin specialist. the eczema seems to vary at different times of the day. its not bad and not bleeding just doesn't look nice on his face

And that is one of the reasons why medical advice - or advice on medical type conditions - is discouraged on the boards.

It could be worth finding out if there is a dermatology nurse clinic locally: waiting lists are likely to be shorter than for a consultant, and the advice, help and support may be more practical and easier to access, with the possibility of phoning regularly for more advice and support.

Meanwhile, I'm not ashamed to give another plug to the National Eczema Society: they are fantastic. Oh, and they may have a local support group which could be useful.

Unfortunately even medical professionals will give conflicting advice which is why a dermatologist will always be best if possible. As Sue says the National Eczema Society are great and well worth a look and if you feel is helpful you can donate and join.

As said by some what works for one person or even on one occassion won't necessarily work the next or for someone else
