Do you have a link to the shirt you bought?

And they do not have to accept returns in store at all, I know a lot of stores who accept paypal offer refunds to store credit if you take it back to the shop.

If there was no mention of it being a child's tee shirt, then they have to pay for the return costs, but you will have to send it back.

Not out of pocket! Post it back to them, you can still return, just not to a store.
