  • You want to use the 5 star pools etc you pay the 5 star prices like everyone else is supposed to!!! The 5 star hotels I have stayed in Paphos employ security staff to approach individuals pool/beach side and ask to see their room key or their name - believe me they soon get to know who is staying at the hotel or not! There is a nice public waterpark which is open to all at minimum cost, and the main public beach Coral Beach is lovely and very accessible by car/bus/taxi. However, if you want to drink in the bars etc I am sure they would be too glad to take your money! I'm sure you will enjoy your holiday wherever you are staying.

Must say you have the cheek of the devil. I have stayed in some 4* plus hotels and been invaded by outsiders. They soon get thrown out when I and others complain.

Some hotels will let you use their facilities if you are not staying there for a charge, would you consider that ? The Capo Bay in Protaras did when we were there, but they also had 'Pool Attendants', who reserved sunbeds for their guests & pretty much watched all the comings & goings all day. Personally, I would pay as I wouldn't want to run the risk of feeling humiliated when questioned by hotel staff!
:D I am in the future you know...
...9 hours ahead to be exact !:D
  • Done this loads of times but never 5*, we always buy something from the pool bar and never get challanged

My intention here was not to use facilities that were
not allowed,I said pools open to non residents.
    Some hotels share facilities etc.
