How do you Record Winnings?

Hi all
Started comping in the spring and keep a record on an excel sheet of my winnings. The sheet I have made up just records what I won and the value by month and then totals up the yearly value - all just for my own benefit.
Anyway I think the sheet I made up is a bit clunky and not really the best it could be. So how do you all record your winning - anybody willing to share pics of how they keep records or share ideas? Was just looking to update mine for next year (assuming I'll get a win next year) and perhaps have something a bit smoother and nicer looking.
Merry Xmas, Happy New Year and lots of comping luck for 2013.
Massive thanks to all who contribute on the MSE forums, especially on grabbit and competition boards

I keep all mine in a blog - take a pic when it arrives and keep a running total as I go.
I usually chat about what I receive as well which is a bit sad as nobody reads it so I'm basically talking to myself :rotfl:But it's nice to be able to look back at all the pics!
  • I keep a record in a primitive notepad file nothing as fancy as the people above me :D

I also take a picture of each win and keep them in a folder so I can browse it often and feel pleased, haha x

May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx

I haven't got round to a spread sheet for wins yet but keep an a4 folder and when I win I print off the original post and post page which often has a picture. I also make a note of if it was a daily mag, daily fb etc. Also if it is a main board post (not daily) or if its from the weekly/monthly mags etc. I also like to keep a note of the OP. Sad I know but thats how I do it.

Will check thread as open to suggestions too.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Thanks for replies - loving the idea of taking pictures of your winnings to look back on, definitely going to start doing that.

  • I just use the 'Notes' app in my iphone, i record what i've won each month & how much it was worth and then add it up at the end of each month and then again at the end of the year. I think its a nice idea though to take a picture and record them in a blog, i might start doing that myself :)

I keep an Excel spreadsheet, listing payments for surveys and prizes won from entering competitions.

It includes date, prize, website prize won from, and value. Prize values are listed in a separate column to survey payments, and automatically totalled through the year.
