    How you getting on skintandscared?

I gave up coffee (again) 3 days ago and had the baddest headache all day yesterday, from my forehead to the top of my head and down the back, it was throbbing and so painful!

    It's gone today :)

Oh well done you! Hope the headaches have now gone completely and you're managing without the coffee!

I'm still off the diet cokes and redbulls and have pretty much stuck totally to pure green tea. The flavoured ones are nice for a novelty but I've got to really like the fresh taste of the plain stuff. Two added bonuses - I'm spending a LOT less money and have managed to lose about 9lb!! :j Not entirely sure how that's happened but I do have a lot more energy, am finding myself walking a lot faster and also find that tea stops me snacking as much.

    That's great to hear :)

The £pounds gain and the lbs lost are a fantastic bonus!

The redbull might have been clogging up your cells and now that you've stopped putting it in your body, you can release the stuff from your cells (I can't explain it properly!!)

I'm on day 9 I think of no coffee, had a wobbly moment yesterday from feeling really tired but didn't succumb to the lure!

I'm drinking green tea as well and a couple of pints of water.

I'm happy you've beat the addiction, it can seem so impossible when you're in the grips of the drug but after a few days of pain everything can change for the better.
