Will iPhone 5 prices come down in Jan sales?

I am stuck on T mobile (or Orange as they now share) as only provider that gets me a signal in my home! Makes shopping around hard as can't go to cheapest deals.

Am looking to replace my 4 with a 5. After a 32 or 64.

Prices on MSE table are same now as before Xmas. Are they likely to come down in Jan sales or are we in the sales but T mobile/Orange/iPhone 5s just staying at pre Xmas prices for forseable future?

I need at least 250 mins, 300+ texts, 700+ mb based on average usage over last 3 months (taken from my Tmobile a/c). Comparing overall cost (don't mind how it splits into monthly & handset costs).

Basically dream on, you won't see any price reduction until the 5s appears.

Ok, only asking! It does seem much cheaper on O2 so wondered if others may reduce to compete? If prices are to stay as they are then I will proceed this week. It's my Xmas present from hubby & the children. Well aware there are cheaper phones but this is the one I want (at the best price possible).

You are correct to ask, and you are correct there maybe cheaper devices, but if that is the one you want, then go for it, the money saved will be irrelevant.
Only the airtime may seem cheaper the device price itself will be set in stone.
If Virgin cover where you are likely to use the handset, then their £12/month sim only deal seems great value.

I think Virgin use TMobile airwaves don't they? I used to switch between Virgin & Tmobile to get best deals but wonder if that's not the case since Tmobile got into bed with Orange?

Does anyone know. Will look up the sim only deal - thanks for the tip. Do you buy the phone from Virgin? Never had sim only deal - that's different from pay as you go right?

Would be good to see either the 5 or 4s come down in price - particularly the 4s as its been out for such a long time. Very much doubt it will though. Currently torn between the two.

Any response to the virgin/t-mobile question? Can you buy it directly from virgin?
