Well, there wouold be two of them, pregnancy doesnt stop you working.
I worked till 2 weeks before mine were born.
It might not stop you working, but if you look visibly pregnant it can certainly stop you getting a job! She may already be working of course but if she's the same age as the OP's son she's unlikely to have been in a job long enough to have maternity rights.0 -
Wouldn't it be good if there was enough affordable social housing for everyone? Or maybe capped rents that meant decent housing was more available, and people didn't have to rely on housing benefit so heavily? Wouldn't that be civilized?0

Civilised would be waiting until you were financially independent and mature enough to start a family. Social housing should be provided to those who need it the most, not those who see it as a way of getting on in life without paying their way.0 -
But to be financially independant enough to rent somewhere privately now would mean quite a large monthly income, certainly more than an apprentice would make. And not everyone will earn enough money ever to be able to do this. Rents are far too high, and social housing as in far too short supply imao. When I was a kid my single mum and me and my two sisters lived in a council house, and my mum worked in the evening and we had some stability cos we had decent housing. It saddens me that kids in families like mine nowadays may not have access to that security.0

Ha! You got me there Ronaldo, I am a bleeding heart lefty type. And you sir, are an unpleasant troll.
I would get some of the money we all gave the banks back, and recoup some of the 70 billion tax dodged every year. Then I would build council houses with it. And other crazzeee socialist !!!! like that.0 -
tbh any talk of building more social housing is nothing more than a waste of hot air until the right to buy is repealed.
Now can we get this thread back on topic please....we've gone off on tangent for far too long2014 Target;

Quite right, sorry for waffling on.
OP, I think a letter stating you are formally evicting your son will do it. Best of luck to him and his little family in the future x0
