Where do you get this info from? I used to work for a bank and a cheque will now clear in 4 days (used to be 3). By the fourth day the cheque has gone through the whole process and has arrived back at the bank where it came from.

I'm sure people will tell you that cheques can go wrong a long time after 4 days

For all the people who are aggrieved by the PayPal fees (and terrible service), try https://www.moneybookers.com. The fees are passed on to the buyer and the only charge to the seller is EUR1.80 to withdraw to your bank account (fixed charge for any amount).
