They both get an allocation, I've booked 2 breaks in schools hols for this year with the DM, I think the variation with the prices comes with the DM allowing you to book upgraded accommodation at the point of booking, whereas The Sun provides standard with the opportunity to upgrade later.

If the DM has already sold its lower standard accommodation it will only show you the availability of higher specification/priced accommodation, if that makes sense.

Does anyone know if Butlins Minehead are still relaxed about entertainment passes. Went last year and never got asked once to show them. Due to pay for a march break soon but don't want to pay for passes if not needed. Any help appreciated.

Les Menhirs this year for 7 nights :)
  • We are looking at booking our honeymoon in Switzerland but would like to go for at least 14 nights (to make it extra special). We can book 16 nights in Switzerland with daily mail deal but it only allows 7 nights for the sun. Is it possible to book two 7 night holidays to make it longer (i.e. two separate bookings with the dates following on)? I have a priority ref number already so would need to get another one (if that is even possible) but just wondered if this would work or is allowed? It would make our hol a lot cheaper (by about £300). Sorry if someone has already asked (tried to catch up on thread and did not notice anything about it). Thanks in advance.
  • its a shame they dont have anything like this for single or couples :(
