ESA after a year

Hi there, I am currently in the ESA support group and have been claiming contribution based ESA for a year as of the 1st of January 2013. I have checked my online bank account today and recieved a payment of £105, which is half my ESA entitlement. It is usually paid every two weeks at £210.
I was wondering if anyone else had recieved a payment today or whether this is a final payment. I have had no correspondence to say that it is due to end on the 1st of January 2013. I believed that contribution based payments in the support group were not time limited.
Any advice would be greatly recieved
Many thanks

Not time limited by the year thing, but may be by the award notice itself. What date did the award notice state for review? It should say on it somewhere.
When I originally got mine it said my award would run for exactly 3 years from july 2012 -July 2015. But that will be its longest date. I am expecting that the review will be done at least 8-10 weeks before that - but may be sooner depending on when I get moved over to UC and disability - assuming I am still classed as ill enough. That was C ESA - I am now on IR ESA, due to OH losing his job. And yes we are in support group mode.
So far all my benefits have been paid on due dates for right amounts.0 -
No date was stipulated on the award form. It just states as of the 14 th of march 2012 I would be placed in the support group and the payment would be £105.05 per week.0

As has already been said, there is no time limit associated with the Support Group.
As to ESA itself, awards are indefinite, so it is nothing to do that.
Only thing you can do is phone DWP on Monday.0 -
The same thing has happened to me. I am on ESA Support and for some reason have received a week's payment today Tuesday 1st January 2013 and my two weekly payment isn't due until next Wednesday (9th January 2013). I am phoning Job Centre Plus tomorrow.0

My friend has Parkinson's Disease & she receives Incapacity Benefit every 4 wks. She had her usual payment for 4 wks on 12th Dec and then received a payment for 1 wk on 20th Dec. No letter from DWP to explain why.0

It's good to know I wasn't the only one.
The Job Centre Plus know how to increase their work load because obviously they are going to be in undated with phone calls tomorrow relating to people receiving this odd one week payment.
Happy New Year everyone.0 -
