Opps cross posted lol. Glad you got it sorted, as I understand it wonga can be paid back early so as soon as the allowance clears get it paid back asap.
For one day the fee will be about what the bank would have charged I bet.

If they paid you early again then next week you'd be in the same position. Do you not have savings from your inheritance left?0

Hi,
I was due my Carers Allowence on Christmas eve - and they paid it on the 21st.
Even though everywhere said - its a normal day - so will be paid on xmas eve.
So because of that I thought as new years eve was also a normal day according to everything - it would also be paid early this week as well.
---
It was not
Now im in a mess as I owe money out today and its the weekend tomorrow.
---
Is there anything I can do about this - if they had just put when the real dates were instead of just changing them all the time I wouldn't be in trouble now
Thank you in advance
Timez
it has always said on there website that the 31st Dec payments will not be early but just Christmas eves payment.0 -
well they could have just said that on their website.
It took you all of a few seconds to type...
"Christmas Eve was a concession that does not apply to new years eve"
It took them all year to write their pages - and still couldn't get it across simply like that.
very angry with them.
And had to borrow it off Wonga
thanks everyone - and job center plus if your reading - thanks for not just nothing - but being worse than that.

seriously? you got paid the same money you would have been paid
If money was so tight then simply hoping it would be paid early isnt good enough0
