Boots 75% Sale

hi folks, hope to glean some valuable info from you lot, and give some back if possible. to the members who have welcomed me, thank you, not being rude but can't access the msg, only see them in my email

This year DH keeps asking me when the next one will be - I told him he has to be patient but patience is something that comes hard to DH!:rotfl::rotfl:

Well went into our boots today and the shelves are very well stocked, looks like nobody has bought a thing

Yes, but come 75% many shelves will be cleaned up the night before so only a limited amount will be on display. Have never managed to get anything other then wrapping paper during the 75% off : (

Really? I've been to Beckton Boots the day after the 75% sale started & got some decent bargains. That's not too far from you. Worth a trip out there anyway, as Galleons Reach retail park has a few shops to pick up some bargains in.

I ordered some stuff from them that will be avail 3rd January to pick up at my local store.

I've changed my mind about wanting it (buyer's remorse:o )
When I go to pick it up, am I allowed to say I no longer want it and would like a refund, or not?

i went to the beckton boots on thursday....the shelves were almost cleared of the half price items....they had the odd items and mostly the gok wan sets left....definately not going there for the 75% off sale.....unless they plan on stocking up again.

No joke...90% of the half price area was empty

You can either return it in store, or else just not pick it up and after 14 days they'll return it to their warehouse and refund you :-)

Ive never had a problem, spent £150 on the last one, was loads left

I really do thinks it depends on your locality as to what's about

Here in NI the stores are smaller

I have perhaps 8 boots in a 20 mile radius - most are wee local stores with very little shelf space. The two stores that do carry the gifts are nearly wiped clear - unless you want the gok or the sanctuary bits. I've picked up a few bits in the 50% sale and that's a great help on next years gift shopping.

But I do miss the "good ol days" of the 75% discount and near full shelves
