Boots 75% Sale

Regarding - no one wants boots gift sets anyway, this made me a little glum
If I can get pricey looking gifts at a fraction of the price, and I know it's things people will use, then I don't see the problem?
Although in our store, it does seem to be just Mens gifts left![/COLOR]2024 Challenges

I've been to two local stores and shelves full .. Half price is not really a good deal when you consider 3 for 2 offer before Xmas. If they move it all online ... They will surely realise in time stock is not shifting. Hopefully then reduce it online to 75% .. when you consider the transit costs in moving it from store to depot and then consequently packaging and posting out to customers is it worth it. Just my thoughts ... Let's still hope 75% in store ..0

I'm just querying those who don't think they'll be a 75% sale this year. Why do you think that? I did the first post with the date of 16th going off previous years and we've not hit 16th yet?
I hadn't visited back to the thread in a while so surprised its kinda gone the way it has - and disappointed too if people have been told that.
Just wondering if its a SA told next door neighbours cat who meowed it to the dog who woofed there is no 75% sale this year?
If it comes to 20th etc then yes, we can all be glum, but now we can just think FOUR SLEEPS TO GO.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
They just want to put others off from going, that's all it is.Thanks MSE!!0

So this year we have decided to bring all the stock back to the main depo where it will then be put online at 1/2 on Friday the 18th.
Sorry for the disappointment of no 75% sale but these items will still be available online from Friday the 18th at 1/2 price.
Thank you
Ha ha ha ha! Good one!:rotfl:0 -

Pull the other one workaholic! I went to the trafford centre last week and boots was rammed to the rafters with xmas stock! Why change the habit of a lifetime when you probs have more stock left than ever before?
Have no fear guys, if I was a betting girlie, I'd say it was a fair bet that it'll all go to 75% on weds! Keep watching this space though eh?!0 -
I have been into Boots today and there is loads of stock on the shelves that no-one is buying. The best before dates on the Starbucks and Twinings tea caddy were February/March 2013 so people wont pay half price for something that is going out of date in February 2013!!! (well i know i wouldn't!!). When you go to other shops i.e Debenhams, Monsoon, BHS and Accessorize their 70% sales have already started, they are putting stock out for Valentines day now. I dont think for one minute that the 75% sale wont go ahead. Come on Boots, people book the day off work to go to this, its one of the pleasures of January!!:p0
