Boots 75% Sale

I asked in Guildford store, SA said that they have been told to see how much stock they can shift in the next week or so before they consider whether there will even be a 75% sale this year.

Gone are the days of staying up all night watching the orange couple and as soon as they disappeared pouncing on the site until it crashed!!

Last year was fun though, chatting outside the store waiting for it to open and then the stampede :rotfl:

14th or 16th is whats been said. I think 16th is more likely.

There are a few Boots discount codes active currently including £15 off a £100 spend and there is another one too. They both expire on 14th Jan, therefore the sale is very unlikely to start on or before that date. They would not combine a discount code like that with a clearance sale - from a business point of view, it just doesn't make sense. So, my prediction is the 15th or later. And as it's usually on a Wednesday apparently - it's most likely to be Wednesday 16th.

I'm going to start checking every night now though just in case

Maybe it will start on a different day to the past - and I will be the one taking all the decent stuff because I was sure to check

Just to ask, I have never bought from the Boots 75% off sale in the past so I am wondering if the 75% off is on everything that is 50% only or does it include the gift sets currently on 1/3 off?

Maybe there will be no 75% off sale... again, it's all a mystery!

There wasnt one online last year, it was instore only so I wouldnt get your hopes up for an online sale unless they are going to change it.

I believe this was because they did a warehouse move after Xmas last year, so to all intents and purposes I am expecting one this year.

Went into Boots this morning to collect some gift sets I had ordered online. One hadn't come (Champneys gift set reduced from £50 to £25) but they had some Champneys Complete Spa sets also reduced from £50 to £25, so said I'd have one of those instead.

Assistant put it through the bar code reader, and it came up at £7.50 ! She had to override it and input it manually.

Not sure if this means anything, or there is just a mistake. If anyone has a Boots with a set in, it might be worth checking.

Fingers crossed for Wednesday, going to be disappointed if I miss it this year. I went in today (Friday) and asked a store assistant again but got the usual 'don't know' reply.

I would be very surprised if the sale isn't this Wednesday as I have been the last 4 years. Make sure you go in the store without many layers of clothing, it gets mega busy, mega hot and very uncomfortable! I am going to take a shopping trolley and stack my goods in there as carrying 3 baskets while people are pushing into you is stressful! hope you all get lots of bargains on Wednesday......if it goes ahead!! :j

hey i think that the boots sale minght be either monday or wednesday cant wait for it tho i dont really get exsited over the bargins mostley the exsitment of getting up early and going out queing up, its just fun :j:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
