Boots 75% Sale

balletshoes It's the same at my local boots - loads of gift sets still on the shelves, reckon a lot of people in our area have got wise to the fact that it will get reduced even more! There are loads of Ted Baker and H by Henry Holland Sets - I was quite surprised to see the range that they had left! The only thing that they have already sold out of is Soap and Glory stuff but it's the same every year - that all goes on the first day with the exception of the handwash set!

toni I have the same problem - I want to go to the sale when it starts but my little one is three months old and I will have to take her with me! I am hoping that if I get there when it opens, there won't be too much of a crush but I think that might be wishful thinking!

I went to my local Boots last year when my little man was 6 months old, it was hard work although the majority of people were very kind passing me things I couldn't reach etc, but you do get stuck down isles with the odd grumpy shopper!! My advice would be to go the day before to see where the bits are that you want.. Then when the store opens head down that isle, make sure nappy bag etc are secure under the pram so as not to get caught on baskets etc, don't wear too many layers as it gets so hot very quickly and you don't want to be messing with removing scarves, gloves etc. Good luck ladies and gents.

I went to my local Boots one day last week and there was lots left, I went back on Saturday and it had reduced by half! Nothing really worth 75% there either :-(
My bigger Boots put out new stock on Friday (lots and lots of slippers!).
Last year there was no scrummage, just me and 3 other people, but my 4 all the stock had gone.
Roll on Wednesday!

Just been to my local stores 1st store Sa said 50% of stuff was being taken off the shelves tonight by the night staff and that is end of sales sun tan lotion coming out and went to another store and Sa said they still don't know what's happening head office keeps changing their minds!!!!!
Well I didn't risk it and have stocked up on what I wanted I said to 1st Sa that if the 75% off happens I will bring all my stuff back and repurchase she said that is ok as long as I have receipts
So maybe each store is different we will just have to wait and see :mad:

Just been to the store in Milton Keynes and a very lovely, but fed up, SA told me that head office are giving staff the run around and not telling them anything! She also said that there is some talk that the sale maybe delayed until next week the 23rd!! They have been told to stick as much sale stuff on the same shelf so they can make a little room for the sun cream. :undecided

i dont know why Boots make it such a big secret with the 75% sale!!! they have to get rid of the stock so its worth them selling it off at 75% than it being in their stockroom doing nothing. Oh well, not long to go hopefully and we can grab some bargains!!:j

If the 75% sale doesn't happen I think my mum will have a breakdown!! She has Been reading the posts on here since January the 1st even though she knows that the sale shoud start this wednesday ( she's been going for the last 5yrs) !! So all I have to say is LITTLE NANNY.........I'll pick you up at 7.15 wednesday morning tunbridge wells boots we are on our way...yyiippeeeee:j

Just been into my Boots...still 50% off but loads of stuff left and Christmas wrapping paper all over the shop...

well folks i am going to Boots after work tomorrow, i am going to go in late just before it closes and see if i can stop any evidence of the sale happening on Wednesday!!! Does anyone know if they normally put the 75% signs up late Tuesday night or Wednesday morning? I will of course update you all

Me and my Mum went last year to the 75% sale and got lots of bargains so we are really hoping that they are going to have another this year as looking back on threads it has been around the same time for the past 5 years! If anyone on here is able to give me a date for the sale that would be great
My suggestion is that if people live near to Boots stores they could pop down on the Tuesday night and see whether th SA's have put the 75% signs up as this is how me and my Mum found out last year!
