NSD 7 today0
-
Do people include days they pay the bills? The only reason I ask, I'm paid weekly on a Monday and pay everything on Mondays, but most of the time, other than the bills and keeping my bus/train fare to one side, I don't spend anything.
Personally, I don't count any direct debits or cash withdrawn according to my monthly budget. Any overspends or spends not budgeted means it's a spend day for me.rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »Ohhhhhh and as for me and the NSD ..... *sigh*
I'm doing really badly this month
I don't know if it's because I've been cooped up in the house for 3 months & now I'm able to get out a little bit .... I just can't resist buying something .....but it's nearly everyday(as can be seen by my total NSDs)
Will try again tomorrow - car's going to the garage (covered by warranty;)) so ..... fingers crossed
Glad to hear you're able to get out a bit now (just in time for the colder weather if the Met Office is correct) - I'm sure the NSD feeling will kick in soon!

@butdoineedit Thanks for your support xxxx (((old NSD'ers threada)))) hopefully I can learn to save more than spend. But make a damm fine job on the spending front without mounting excess. (dangerous supermarkets, tempting online shopping, those dreaded but tempting kindle editions and so forth).
Big lot of No visiting Amazon, no sale deals on 12 days of Kindle unless of Wish list where I make Amazon work REALLY HARD for my business, no List free trips to tesco which deliberately makes me feel bad instore but worst as I am forced to throw things away cos useby dates are too short. Bar budgeting ambitions to budget for in a careful but honest way.xx#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

You are on the front page, so you can't escape now.
Good luck reaching your target
12/15 hopefully isn't too optimistic? a target.
Yesterday I treated myself to 2 books about Reading Books a sort of celebration, nabbed for what I called 'threes's' or thereabout. Book price 1p rest is postage. The second Anthology was £4.00 so more. Then one Kindle making £10 in all.£120!!!! (it all adds up) and I am very anti Mr T as they are constantly making it difficult for people like us to nab bargains. I am also forced to throw food out something that I prefer not to do and that is money down the drain.
I had a small waitrose shop, waitrose is there to counter tesco but even then I have to watch it as I suspect waitrose is up to no good despite of being higher prices. Farmison and Natoora to the rescue within reason? plus flour and chilli sauce 'tour's so I enjoy a greater variety of mills and my money at least feeds local business people and not exploiting FTSE fat cats who aim to give me and us as little as they can get away with.
I recently got myself a Tesa draft excluder whatever it's faults it looks like it will do at the job. At least it's something towards Winter Preparation something a marvellous MSE thread is active on doing.
I also have saved up bubble wrap to if need be put on windows, have an extra long cable gang so I can retire to bed to stay warm provided I have done my steps/floors.
I now have hopefully my final pedometer one that measures my footsteps automatically etc but is inaccurate with calories (smartphone endomondo measures it perfectly and realistically).
So hopefully SPENDS will be well planned but above on put on a brand new overdue foundations of needing to get a million NSD's another brilliant MSE community innovation.:beer::beer::cool::cool::A:A#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Acer Aspire Keyboard bug made the post above not as coherent as it might be.
I have done tesco shops at £120, trying to reduce it to smaller jobbies (waitrose including and asda to try) so I have more money in my acount and I can start to be hated by supermarket marketing personel with their neuromarketing techniques.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
