Do people include days they pay the bills? The only reason I ask, I'm paid weekly on a Monday and pay everything on Mondays, but most of the time, other than the bills and keeping my bus/train fare to one side, I don't spend anything.
)
But my house related bills are (mostly) paid by D/Debit, so they go out all over the month!! I'm currently working on trying to get my water one back from 4th (which is where they put it after I phoned and asked for a payment adjustment last March) to 1st (where it used to reside alongside my gas & electric). If I manage this will give me the potential for another NSD every monthThe only one that I pay cash for is the window cleaner, and I can't reliably predict when he'll come (though I have a vague idea). I normally pay him two or three lots at once - the one they've just done and the rest that are due that calendar month (giving me the potential for 1 or 2 NSDs I'd otherwise lose by paying him each time he came).
Then I count my swimming lessons (pay for one a week), personal trainer (pay every 5th Monday) and groceries (ad-hoc, but trying to stick to Monday and Saturday - with the odd Sunday instead of Saturday if I 'pop into' C0stco like I probably will this weekend).
I normally find that any 'oops' spending (things I fancy but don't need) is done the same day as grocery spends, as I stay away from shops on the other days..... shops always seem to manage to prise some money from my purse :eek:Cheryl0 -

Bagging NSD 8 today. :j
One of my targets was to take lunches in and so far I have. Last one tomorrow so I think I''ll make nut/beanburgers for tea and take one in to work.
These dark nights don't half make me drowsy and lethargic when I get home!
Really, really tired and overslept this morning! Just getting back into a proper sleep routine I think.
Hope everyone is well

I don't include all the individual days d/debits come out - or I'd hardly be able to get any as I've deliberately spread them out over the month :eek: - but I do include the day I transfer money to that account to cover them HTHflubberyzing wrote: »I should be on BBC Look East tonight from 6:30 if any of you are in that area!

Ohhhhhh and as for me and the NSD ..... *sigh*
I'm doing really badly this month
I don't know if it's because I've been cooped up in the house for 3 months & now I'm able to get out a little bit .... I just can't resist buying something .....but it's nearly everyday(as can be seen by my total NSDs)
Will try again tomorrow - car's going to the garage (covered by warranty;)) so ..... fingers crossedGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
