    Hi gang

    I've had2 NSD/15 NSD These were 1st and today 3rd.

I've booked today off work as it's my birthday today. I've received a great present from my Mum and brother which is a iPod touch and from my nephew an iTunes voucher.:j

    DFF

Happy Birthday - hope you had a lovely day xx

Welcome all newbies - don't be nervous, we don't bit unless asked to very nicely ;)

Rising - last of my crumpets were eaten today so we're entering crumpt-gate  (I must admit I did actually pick a couple of furry bits off my last two )

Well not a NSD for me - I caved and bought the pastry case from Sainsbobs. I also picked up the pitta for OH dinner tomorrow, a bag of salad (OH doesn't eat a lot and I'm not going to munch my way through a whole lettuce in this weather) but that was on offer. I did also take the opportunity to pick up a couple of mushrooms though prob won't use those til Sunday now...oh, and a tomato..for garnish.

I also managed to pick up a pack of 9+100% free toilet roll in Tacto for £2.50 (one can never have enough toilet roll :rotfl:)

On the not so :money: side, I ordered a new sewing box online today (in the sale) - that's an xmas present from my DM, but I also ordered the matching button box and pin cushion :o (couldn't resist and it didn't change the delivery cost) They were both in the sale and this is going to be my 'forever' (well long time) sewing box so I figure it's not too much of a crime :o:o:o:o

On the upside, my quiche was a success - OH had some although it was a bit to much 'green' for his liking - but he did well bless him. So I have half a quiche left - will take some for lunch tomorrow. Also had some filling left and tried making crustless mini quiches in a yorkshire pudding pan. Were ok but left them to cool then couldn't get them out easily - jury is out as to whether they make it into the fridge or the compost :o (feel a bit guilty but I'm really not sure about them)

Back on the NSD wagon tomorrow :A

    Hi,

Just popping on to declare NSDs #1, 2 & 3 for the first three days in january. I'm proud of myself for not being sucked in by the sales, being off work has helped though!

    Hi everyone:wave:

I’ve just been catching up on today’s posts and echo freeby’s comment that it’s lovely to see everyone chatting and supporting each other again. That element of the challenge had quietened down a bit over the past few months, it’s lovely to see it back and it’s been ages since one day’s posts covered five pages....... Keep on chatting everyone and well done for all the NSDs nabbed already :j:j

Welcome back to: zafiro1984 and CraigLoans

And welcome to: harduphelen, crimson.addict, hermyan, MrsP1000, x0emz0x, and -daydreamer- I hope you enjoy the challenge

MummyRivett - love the sound of your spending and debt management app, it sounds brilliant. I hope you get lots of benefit from it

Sazzie - good news that you have a very understanding boss, that must be a massive help. You and OH will get through this and you know where to come if you need a rant or want a (((hug))) xx

chris - congrats again and I’m glad you’re sticking with us, you can inspire the rest of us on

lottie3000 - hold on until Monday..... you know you can do it!!!! We need those NSDs to bump the total up:D

floella, Helgathehairy - yay to your first ever NSD:j:j

poohbear59 - my late mother used to call it “robbing Peter to pay Paul” as well...... some things never change

armchairexpert - normally I would be envious of you living in Oz while we suffer the British climate... but bushfires:eek: I hope you managed to stay cool today

WelshWoofer - come one... you can do it.... looking forward to seeing you declare NSD no 2 tomorrow:)

rising - yay to having enough crumpets... and I love your household journal, I had a sneaky peek at your diary yesterday

marmite - ouch, I hope your back starts to improve soon. hopefully a week’s rest will help . It seems as though a bad back is a side effect of your job unfortunately.
Take care and get plenty of rest x:A

Shortie - I hope you managed to resist the evil vending machine. If beef crisps are your downfall have you thought about B0vril in hot water, it might just curb the urge.....

beanie - wooop woop to getting dressed today and yay to 3 out of 3:j

WantToBeSE - yay to saving £30 a month, well done you, and for paying some of the CC balance:j

    Just managed my 1/16 NSDs.

Are we able to update the list ourselves or just post the figures as they happen?

    Thanks
