Thank you CW, unfortunately Daddy Rivett is I'll now,
I've made one half of a heart, they take about an hour to knit, then remembered that it is the in-laws anniversary on valentines day, so I think these hearts would be great to tack onto a card.
This afternoon I have been compiling the shopping list from my meal planners. Now dilemma, do I buy the ingredients to make a sweet short crust pastry for a gypsy tart or shall I get a prebaked case?- MSE Forum Achievements:

If you get the ingredients, you would be able to make a multitude of things as well as the sweet pastry MumR. There again, having a base already made saves a lot of faffing
...as usual, I've not helped in your decision-making; sorry!
Oh Well Done BDINI :T You must sell tickets to The Big Event or at the very least, hire a string of cinemas to screen the pemiere
I'm experimenting with a soup recipe; the juice from SC ham joint with diced celery, parsnip, courgette & yellow pepper, along with red lentils & a sprinkle of sage. It certainly smells tempting & I'll heat it up in a saucepan tomorrow; surely that & 4+hrs of low SCing will be enough? I did the lentils on a ten-minute rapid boil before I put them into the slow cooker, so I hope I've done the right thing...if I'm not here Monday, direct my mail to the Smallest Room of the House
I got a bit ahead of myself by declaring 15 for Thursday as that didn't happen til yesterday, but I can confidently say
I've reached targetNo 16 is currently in residence as we speak
so I'll increase my total tooooooo 20 I think please!

Freeby - a very daring Nargle is going to suggest increasing her target to 12 for this month. (Ye Gods, I know how to have fun!)
I am going to get bossy now.
I am NOT going to increase your target now. I am going to wait until you have reached your first target and then allow you ti increase it. That way you get a prize and hopefully two when you hit your second target.
Sorry for being a bossy mare. Can I still come to the burns supper???? I have had my sporran de-flead and everythingFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

I think as you have experimented with the soup, I'm going to give it a go with making my own pastry. Well done for reaching your target.
By the way everyone, my house coat came today, I love it Daddy Rivett says it really is practical as I tend to be a bit of a messy cook, but I do look like Julie waters. He has been calling me two soups, all day- MSE Forum Achievements:

OOOh! Get you, Ms Bossyboots! Someone been feeding you raw meat for brekkie, then??
Still, I suppose I should thank you, as doing it my way would mean missing out on a luvverly prize! 9 out of 10 it is, then.
(now off to the front page to see what fab prizes are on offer...)One life - your life - live it!0 -
So, assuming tomorrow is another NSD, I get a rather psychotic-looking thistle. Then, if I set a new target and reach that, I get Nessie playing the bagpipes. Hmmmm....Freeby, what strange substances had you been taking when you thought of those prizes????
(No, Igor, you can't bags the thistle for the top of the Burns Night cake, the thistle will go on my wall of honour. If I can get the blooming thing to keep still so I can nail it in...And I simply have to win Nessie and the bagpipes, because anything will be better for the Burns Night cabaret than the McFlinging Jocks and their twirling, sequinned sporrans.?}One life - your life - live it!0 -
