• NSD # 7 yesterday... I'm not sure we can get 9 of them during the rest of the month to hit our target of 16 for the month...but we will try.

NSD #7 today. I was pleased it snowed as this stopped me going shopping after work for new work trousers. However I don't love it anymore as it has spoiled my weekend plans!

Hope you're all wrapped up warm and safe at home.

    :( I've been sick 3 days running I'm up to 15NSD

One thing I've been after for home is one of those 1960s house coats that dinner ladies use to have. My mum used to have one for housework and cooking to preserve her clothes. I found them today by Alexandra. Quite pricy at £32 with postage. However I found a discount warehouse on eBay and found a new one for £12.49. I'm well pleased, so I only used £12.49 of my birthday and Christmas money, a little treat for me whilst the rest cleared my debt. So today wasn't a NSD But I have done really well since November and really cut back on the household budget :T.

if you only used Birthday / Christmas money, I wouldn't personally count that as a spend as it's 'extra' pennies you wouldn't normally have IYSWIM?

Well I can confirm today is NSD # 8. Got about 10cm of snow here and abandoned office at lunchtime to come home. Was planning to go shopping tomorrow but will prob postpone that until Sunday or next weekend. Do really need to get a food shop in and collect a 'click and collect' order that's been in store for a while but not sure when I'll get that done. Can't believe the amount of panic buying people have been doing, my DM said people had 2 / 3 trollies worth of food when she was working last night - just how long do they think we'll have snow for? (and trust me, we do not live in a remote area)

Quick dilemma for you all - do I count yesterday as a NSD? By my rules and spend (bar my exclusions) is not a NSD. I bought something for OH in town that he asked me to get, but the day before he's given me some pennies including a couple of extra £ that I didn't expect - the extra £ covered the £1 item that I got him. So if I deduct that from the pennies he gave me the day before, I technically didn't spend any of my own money - or is that bending the rules?

I am soooooo looking forward to Monday when i can hand in my notice & tell Mr Bossman where to stick his job!! I've got a weeks leave left to take, so only 3 weeks of hell left & then i'll be free!!!

  • **sneaks in as meant to be doing other jobs**

Another NSD so now up to 13

    Keep warm everyone :-)

  • I couldn't log in last night, my internet connection was down :(

I am still stuck at 5. I could have gone one more but like others, I decided to stop off at the supermarket last night due to the weather forecast for today.

I thought I would swap and have an NSD today instead (which it would have been) but that didn't work out either as I ended up having to pay for take-out coffee, a work expense which I will get back but a spend day nonetheless. Definitely tomorrow and Sunday will be NSDs though.

    Stay warm and take care.
