  • Hello.I've been busy the last few days,so have some catching up to do.

I have got #11,#12 and #13 for Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday.

I bought a television on Wednesday, but haven't counted this as a spend,as I had a budget set aside for this so it hasn't altered my bank balance.:)

My old telly has lasted about 15 years-not bad I suppose.;)

    14 NSD for me.

School is now closed due to the snow, not that we have any so to speak but all the road in to town do so again we are the cut off town. It means no stock will get in, good job I went yesturday as the shelves will be empty by 12. Be all gone by tomorrow! Most of the teachers have to travel in from other towns. In the past they have opened for childcare only. We have 3 schools, as soon as the older kids close the rest follow.

Means we won't be going out either.

Errr BMF...they're not hankies...they were spare nappies for Hubert :rotfl:
Whoooooooooppps--sorry H, I didn't know :o can you hang on till I get to the army surplus stores & I'll treat you to some parachute silk? Actually, it would help clear that rash...
M'be 'we' should start using something other than disposables so Hubert can contribute to the soil conditioning for Chez Nargle crops. It would give a better yield than the Useless MP Promises we have been using; I know it's advertised as organic fertilizer but it's as weak as wet water where they've recycled them too often *satire this early in the day? Must have slept better!*

As the snow is currently passing the windows from south to north along the horizontal, I can't see us venturing out today either but I won't say any more in case I jinx myself :p My nsd haul now stands at 15, up to & including yesterday.

Beanie, let us know you've got home from the doc OK won't you Pet? I worry so this weather; can't help it, tiss the Mumma in me :D And all those who have to go out..Take VERY good care & Keep Warm x

Mrs Rivett, loving the house coat - I use my old dressing gown in winter or put on an old t-shirt in summer but its not ideal, my Gran always had a house coat, she always managed to look smart.

Thanks, my Nan had one too, I think she got it from work when she retired. What iLife is that it is like a uniform, so that I know when Im wearing it I will be in housework mode.

I've always wanted one and think I gota bargain for 50% off, I could probably have bid on one, but I always forget and loose out due to being at work.

  • I had a NSD yesterday. Got a few groceries for a poorly friend, but she paid me back.
And a NSD today, which takes me up to 12!

I'm all ready for a weekend of staying indoors, having been to the supermarket for supplies on Wednesday morning.

I'm meant to be going out for a pub lunch tomorrow, but it's a 30 minute drive for me, a lot of it down country lanes. So I think I'm going to ask my friend if we can postpone it until next week. How's the snow where you are?
We had some yesterday afternoon/evening, which did settle. It started again at 9am, just as I was going to the post box. It's snowing quite heavily here now, and settling. The news had said it wasn't due until at least lunch time! :o
