Up to 7 NSDs now. Like rfta I'm also finding them hard to come by. I think only treating days when I don't spend anything whatsoever is proving a bit restrictive, as I'm being much more sensible about what I buy and when since New Year. Whereas before I might go to the shop and buy a weeks worth of food in one go, then risk throwing some of it away, I'm shopping little and often.

I think from next month, I'll consider days when I only spend budgeted money as a NSD too.
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done

    :( I've been sick 3 days running I'm up to 15NSD

One thing I've been after for home is one of those 1960s house coats that dinner ladies use to have. My mum used to have one for housework and cooking to preserve her clothes. I found them today by Alexandra. Quite pricy at £32 with postage. However I found a discount warehouse on eBay and found a new one for £12.49. I'm well pleased, so I only used £12.49 of my birthday and Christmas money, a little treat for me whilst the rest cleared my debt. So today wasn't a NSD But I have done really well since November and really cut back on the household budget :T.

  • ((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) to everyone who is feeling under the weather

Good luck at the GP's tomorrow Beanie

Not one for me today, had to trail right across town to get some paint for refurbishing my bargain vintage dressing table, which i'm so excited about, i was going to do it at the weekend, but seeing as the snow looks like it might really set in overnight, i thought i'd get it out of the way today then i can spend all weekend cosy in the house with my soggy paintbrush!!

Also grabbed some cream cheese & sour cream to make a new your cheesecake for my friend as a birthday pressie, she loves them & it's so much cheaper than having to buy a present! I was shocked at the levels of panic buying in Mr T, it was like xmas all over again!

That's it now though, definitely no more spends until Monday!

    Hi All

Quick sign in to say I made it to NSD 8 today
If I report it here I won't forget ..or that's the plan :-)

Beanie - hope GP trip is a positive one

Mrs Rivett, loving the house coat - I use my old dressing gown in winter or put on an old t-shirt in summer but its not ideal, my Gran always had a house coat, she always managed to look smart.
Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.
    Estimated DFD August 2018 - 2031 - now 2027 :T
