Cashback credit card

Hey!

I always use cash to buy anything from shops and my debit card to buy anything online. I was talking about this with a friend and she has said because I pay everything off straight away, I should get a CashBack credit card and pay it off monthly and I could make some money from that!

Anyone know what CashBack card is the best?

Looks like max £100/year though... so if you're putting £1k+ a month through you'll probably want to look elsewhere (or just use this for £300/month)

It also has a low max credit limit (at least initially). Worthwhile for £300/month if you use it with another cashback card though

Yes Aqua has a low max limit which is £100 but tbh to get that amount of cashback, Id need to spend £20000 on my Capital one card. With the Aqua card you just need to spend £3333.34 on it and you get your £100

After that, just use another card( Id try and use it once/month though). Creation also do a pretty good card imo but its not listed on the site

I have a barclay card cash back card.
I get 1% back, monthly, capped at £15 per month.

Depending on your spending habits the new Barclaycard Cashback (different from the one mentioned above which I do not believe is available any longer) might be better for you. You will need a good credit history to get one though.

Was considering that card myself but it just seems to be quite confusing in the sense that Im not so sure if its a good deal or not

If you will make more than 15 transactions a month it is worth it.

Others to consider are the Aqua 3% card but the small limits on that mean you have to really stay on top of everything (too much hassle for me), Santander 123 Credit Card but that does not give cashback on any purchases outside its 3 defined categories. There are also some offerings from Capital One and Amex which offer up to 1.25% but you have to spend a lot go get that rate.

The American express cashback cards https://www.americanexpress.com/uk/content/platinum-cashback-credit-card/?filter=cashback . One pays 5% on first 3 months then 1.25% + You get all the foursquare offers on top like spend £50 get £10 back through Amex.
