It seems to me survey sites pay extremely low rates. Time how long it takes to fill one out and compare to what you get paid. I bet its nowhere near minimum wage (£6 per hour ish?). Might as well do a shift at mcdonalds :-)0

But you can't do a shift at McDonalds while your watching TV or on a boring tele-conference.0 -
Chrome is so incompatible with websites I have stopped using it.
Try Firefox.
Ohgosh, survey sites are not scams at all. A good number of us on here have made a few quid over the years. However, some of them (like 'YouGov') take a couple of years to reach the pay-out point so are best avoided.
Others like 'Rewardedopinion' & 'Vivatic' can throw-out loads of surveys & you can quickly reach payout limits.Never Knowingly Understood.

That's why I use IE as a back up. Anyway, I tried another computer that had Firefox installed and it worked.
Wish I hadn't bothered though - looks like it is a con. The only surveys I have available are to apply for a Vanquis credit card, open an account with a online casino and sign up with Opinion Surveys.0 -
£1 a day from surveys sounds doable - I guess that over £300 a year isn't it ? - how many can you join and how often do you get them?
I joined up to Toluna yesterday but haven't done a survey yet. I shall see ..Oh Gosh I'm wising up to saving the pennies :j0 -
I'm a member of a number of panels but currently only do ones that pay out in cash rather than vouchers as I'm currently outside the UK. There are also a number of panels that block entry based on IP addresses, so I ignore those as well.
The ones I am concentrating on are -
One Poll
PureProfile
ConsumerOpinion
Viewsbank
Since the start of January, I've earned £31 just from those four, so £1 a day is definitely doable.
The regularity of surveys depends on the panel - OnePoll for example have multiple surveys a day, but they are low paid (10p or so), whereas ConsumerOpinion send out a survey a week on average, but they are longer and pay up to £3 each.0 -

Hi Im new to this survey stuff and was wondering how everyone deals with their tax? I am currently employed part time and tax is sorted through PAYE.
Any help or advice to start out will be very appreciated!0 -
I don't normally join in challenges, but keeping up to date with my surveys is something that I am being really lazy with but something that I want to change, so this might spur me on.
Can I join?
Thanks, D90 -

My thoughts exactly. If you just do surveys while you are doing something else (watching tv, etc), its all bonus money. If you spend an hour a day watching tv... even if you only average 50p to £1 from that hour, it could be over £350 per year that your earn. Think of it as £350 for watching tv, a task you usually earn nothing for!Santander Loan [STRIKE]£3003[/STRIKE] £2100AA Credit Card [STRIKE]£3148[/STRIKE] £2676Natwest OD [STRIKE]£1500[/STRIKE] £1370Cahoot OD [STRIKE]£1000 [/STRIKE]£650Capital One Card [STRIKE]£641[/STRIKE] £400Total [STRIKE](Jan 12)[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£9546 [/STRIKE] £7196 (Now)0
