Aw thanks PB - i know i likes me a list but i do find that by listing things that need doing it gets me thinking about things and doing them as well - the item that was just dumped in the spare room was on a few lists but i have now found a proper 'home' for it so its easy to get to and use whilst still being hidden away - and its not just on the floor
More rejection letters from job apps
Onwards and upwards though - i have 2 new jobs to apply for which i will do by the end of this week - no point doing early submission as the apps only seem to get looked at after the cut off date  this week will still be early submission anyway as well
Got a few of my jobs doie but wanted to get toiletries sorted last night and didn't - MUST DO tonight - although i'm pretty sure the only thing i need is cotton wool pads.
I returned several items yesterday totalling £69 to come off next months credit card bill :T Wish i could return more but remember i bought alot of stuff from a shop and was told it couldn't be returned ? Well it can be  but i've only gone n shredded the receipti am so annoyed at being given the wrong information
I think i'd be out of the timeframe on this as well
Need some new summer shoes for holiday but am not buying them - i am 'making do' which is what i'm trying to do with lots of things - right gotta dash and get on with some study may pop back in on my breakCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Well today has already been a spend day but it was necessary and a need so it cannot be helped so in that sense i am ok with it - its a book i need for my new course - i've done an hours studying and prep and just though i'd sneak a peak ahead at the next section (long way off from that but like to have directed studying so i know what i'm studying towards) and there was a book listed as necessary so i found the cheapest and ordered it.
I'm sort of thrilled :j and completely **eep** about this new course - it is going to be alot of work on my side but as long as i am organised with my time and focused i can do it - gotta think positive and all that - and thats without even thinking about the other course i've signed up to  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Both are so completely different though so it will be good to change between the two
yesterday was an nsd :T
New frugal challenge is to save up for a kindle - i know i have a kindle fire hd :smileyhea But i really do get distracted by the ease of access to the internetSo i want a separate little kindle for me - i've heard the new kindle paperwhite is supposed to be really good but its a bit dearer than the cheaper one
and i am not very technically minded so if anyone can help
I'd like to say i'll save up vouchers - i've used all vouchers for uni stuff so that has to take priority and i still need quite a few things in preparation - more books and printer ink etc. What i'm thinking is it could possibly be a debt free treat - give myself a goal and a reward for achieving it :T I'm chasing up cashback but it could take months for that to pay out but that should help with the goal. I'm aiming now for OCTOBER and if i miss that revised target is xmas - although realistic target is xmas i really just need to challenge myself to get it gone ASAPCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Urgh! Super fast post before having to leave the house super early  Would you believe i have been up since 6.30am and its taken me all that time to get on here and post ? I've obviously done other things in meantime though trying to eat brekkie and type at the mo. - Ordered final birthday gift that i need to sort as got free delivery ordered 1 of the more pricey items i need for uni at the same time  and then went on to order a new phone case as the one i have is simply rubbish (read it doesn't even fit my phone) and i do need to protect my phone as it would be costly to replace ..
Bad nights sleep due to work yesterday - put in for a promotion and didn't get itWill be interested to see who did. Wasn't helped by colleague / supposed friend keep asking 'are you not really upset you didn't get it?' / 'are you annoyed you didn't get in?' and such like  So took myself off for some fast food at lunch and was then annoyed with myself for wasting the £5
:( Struggled getting to sleep comparing my experience and quals (i have more of both) with other applicants
Stupidly feeling a bit embarrassed that i wasn't considered good enough
Today will be better!
Good points:
Studying for 2 new qualifications which can only be a benefit to me and my future applications with other companies(started 1 will start other at end of week when i've settled into this)
Turn disappointment into motivation to get new job - 2 applications going in on friday
Work hard on studies to achieve highest pass grade possible to put me in best position for other jobs
Knowing who your true friends really are - alot are on here so thank you for listending to my ramblings
I will not waste money on lunches (though it was scrummy and got me out of the office)

Sorry to hear about the jobs Dedicated?, but your positive spin on them is to be massively admired.:T
Think of it as clearing the way for another, better opportunity that you woulsn't be able to take iif you had got these job.s.. As for the promotion I guess it's a case of getting your ladder propped against the wall you want to climb before you start climbing it else it's harder to pull away when you are being paid more etc.
Well done on the returns and oooh that's annoying about the other stuff you could have returned. Did youpay by car or cash?

Thanks PB - i put a brave face on things yesterday though i really just fely like crying
Due to this didn't get as much studying done as i would have liked but it is tough going at the mo.
I paid by card but am well out of the timeframe and have no proof that this was said to me  Live and learn i guess.
How are things with you ? I'm guessing you're still hugely busy as i've not seen you around for a bit - are you studying anything at the mo.?CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Just had a major :eek::eek: moment when i checked banking its going to be very tight but hopefully doable this month - next month will be very, very tough but am trying to just focus on september and repayments from then on in. Any cashback coming through will help but i'm anticipating that in dribs and drabs throughout the rest of the year.
Done all dusting upstairs and hall stairs and landing. Came downstairs got pots ready to wash and discovered a blocked sink instead:eek::mad:
Fortunately had bottle of stuff with some left in it and set to work, then rinsed for ages and cleaned entire sink before cleaning it again - grumble! Does anyone use anything to keep their pipes clean? The bottle i used said there was a product for this to use each month but wondering if theres something else cheaper ?
Today is going to be a spend day - i've decided i can last no longer without a diary (i use mid-year) and i have so many things to keep track of my head will feel better with it down on paper! Will be a spend on credit card again but as its a diary and not something of a high value i will just accept it.
Next month i am going to just buy all stuff needed for uni and new course in one go - course starts the month after so i can't realistically leave it any longer.
And in view of the above i just nipped off and registered on the excel course - how very exciting- although i've just seen the amount of work required - they give timescales which is fab but i'll probably need to round that up rather than down but :j

Morning all - discovered that me and the shower gel i bought don't get on !! rinsed loads and i am still super itchy
- this happened when i used this particular one the other day but i forgot and used it again as it does smell nice and i was tired and reaching for the girly looking gel
Must tuck it in nearer my Mr's things
Late starting today - combination of not sleeping well so feeling shattered by the time its time to get up and also having gotten up having a load of urgent handwashing needing doing and then needing to make ANOTHER complaint
The plan before food shopping today (and maybe after too) is to break the day up in study and cleaning time so i'm going to do 30 minutes study shortly then vacuum all the upstairs, hall stairs and landing too and hopefully get most of the ironing together. Then maybe pop in here and then 30 more mins of study. Then wash pots and then here and then 30 minutes updating shiney new diary with excel study times :T then 30 mins study, dust downstairs here for update and then we'll see - i'll probably need to pop back in here to find out what i need to do and when :rotfl:
Sold a few more ebay bits which is good :T Moved a few more bits to the carbooty as well.

I've vacuumed and i've washed, dried and moved the pots  Studying is super hard going but the rewards will be there when i complete so am going to keep plugging away after a little break - next stop will be dusting.
Feel like i've turned a corner with things - i was still feeling pretty rubbish after the job news and when i went into town before work i already knew i was going to be spending money BUT i managed to stick to just what i needed and nothing more :T Even to the point of not getting a £1 item 'because its just a £1' because after all it is all of these £1's which do add upSo pleased with myself and hope to carry on like this - i had even popped into one of my favourite shops which had the lure of further reductions and i looked round (as in just stood in one place and glanced at all this stuff) and just thought i really could not be bothered :j
have a shooping list for essentials and will see how i go on with that tooCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Well done for sticking to just what you need - it's so hard to do that when there's so much temptation around!
Sorry you didn't get the jobbut, I'm sure something bigger and better will be just around the corner
Have a good day xBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
