What did you do last time you asked the question in 2010?

I don't remember what I did nearly 3 years ago and that was for a different scooter.

The scooter I am talking about now was a 2nd hand one from ebay in 2011.

And whilst you were searching me on here you would have seen I went through a seperation which was extremely difficult.

Oh btw thanks for the help in advising me what I can do.

Whether it was the same scooter or a different one doesn't matter. You managed to get the money for a second hand one, so why not for repairs?
just passing through.... Nothing to see....

Oh and I didn't "search you on here", I googled to see if I could actually help but got directed to both this thread and another 2 in 2010.

The money I got to buy a 2nd hand one was money left to me by my mum after she passed away.

If had the money I wouldn't be on here asking for advice and help.

You did not state if you are in receipt of DLA?

    - you know where I live, I don't know where you are
    - if I'm in reasonable striking distance of you
    - I'll come and do it free of charge, it doesn't cost anything but time
    - changing the batteries and checking the charging properly is not a big job
    - at least when the snow goes you'll be mobile again mate

NOTE01 : Not the tyres, batteries & charger operation only.
NOTE02 : "Where I live is hilly", explains a lot - thanks for that.

I've been beaten to it with regards to how far you can go on a charge which is approx 30 miles but that depends on terrain.
Where I live is hilly and the scooter is used to go to the shops with, and for longer journies because I do not own a car and the bus service for some parts of where I live are not very good.

The 2 tyres plus inner tubes will cost me £98 altogether not each.

That scooter is far to big to go on the buses or trains where I live and I would be very, very surprised if any buses or trains would carry it due to both the weight and size of it.

The area I live is a hilly area and a lot of the place I go include some quite steep ones.

I live in Dorset and we haven't had snow where I live fortunately.

I take it on neither one of them, I wouldn't attempt to try and get my scooter on a bus or train.

I never go on trains and only use buses if I absolutely need to.

A 15 hour drive and 700 plus miles might be just too far for me to help, a bit outside 'reasonable striking distance' .. .. sorry M8
