Just, he was very sulky when he thought he'd lost his money...ah joy!

I usually take them down before new year but have been lazy this year :o it's ok, can take ages to reach pay out but if you check a few times a day it's not too bad.

Sofa day today - studying and mooching while DS plays footie with his pals online, why they can't just go out and kick a ball about I don't know... jeez I'm old :o

Bought cleanser and toner using advantage points, have stopped going into Boots these days as superd!ug is much cheaper but they sent me a mail thing telling me I have about £14 worth of points to use :D

Apart from that bought a card and on the way to post it picked up a penny, this obviously is a sign from above that some huge episode of good luck is heading my way and not that kids just chuck them away as they can't be bothered faffing with them :D

Good for you El! DS has found another tenner in one of his bags so we're back to the bank tomorrow as he's desperate to get his savings up - my little money saver :D

Good for him! How old is he, SS?

Anyway, a belated welcome to MFW from me. Nice to have another single parent joining the party.

Hi Lois_E:wave:, thanks for the welcome. DS is 13 going on 20! He is sweet 80% of the time then 20% stroppy teenager but obviously he knows EVERYTHING!

Washing is currently hanging outside and I can see some blue sky but every now and then it's clouding over and I keep running to the window to check it's not raining, it's not even windy either so this could have been a complete wasted effort:o:o
