Yes, me dear, I shall look for a plan for you and start upping my mileage! Did 5 and a bit miles today - getting a bit too comfortable and lazy and not upping it :o.

Got something to hand in on Monday though so will concentrate on that first... Honest Butti! x

No worried I've got plenty to keep me plodding just now anyway ... Week two looks hard ... It's gonna be a while till I can run 5 k then I need to work on 10 then think of maybe 10 miles before tackling the half ... But just now doing 5k is my goal ( with half marathons in the distant picture of course :) )

Good luck getting your work done for Monday ... I'm tempted with this icecream maker tbh

I found getting to 5K was the hard bit, once you can run for that long it's a skoosh just building up the distance. It's hard but you will get there.

I made the icecream by hand! Still haven't found the beater for the icecream maker :o It was a recipe out of Takeaway Secret.

Butti, can you please edit your post further up with my name in?

Yes, sorry about that Skinty. I had a look before and didn't spot it!

Do you think I could join you on a half marathon? I'll have to [STRIKE]up [/STRIKE]start my training and you wouldn't have to keep up with me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    '5 and a bit miles'
    'lazy'

Should these two be co-existing in the same sentence?
