£26 at cash 4 clothes but hate to think how much they cost to buy in the first place... off to pay £20 towards mortgage.
Hi SkintCan I please pick your brains about this bit? I too am having a belated Spring clean
and bedroom makeover (budget = £0 lol) I have loads of my boy's old clothes in bin bags. I have picked out the decent stuff for the charity shop. Will give them a quick wash to freshen them up.
Did you drop off your stuff at the cash 4 clothes shop or did they collect? Our stuff is clean, but not what you would call "freshly laundered" - been in bags for ages and I am a stranger to the ironing board. Did they check every item or just fling it on the scales. I'll be using one of the Glasgow shops.
I hope you don't mind me asking. I remember your post from lurking recently. Hope you had a great evening in Edinburgh0 -

Off course I don't mind you asking, I dropped it in at the shop and the bloke sort of went through it but it was very much a quick glance - think he was just checking it was all clothes and not ripped. Delurk as often as you like:cool:

Sounds like a grand day out
Thanks very much for the info  Will be decorating the bedroom with leftover paints. I found a lovely, long-lost lamp in the declutter. If I can keep my budget at zero, I may be able to justify to myself getting a TV point put in the room. Be blissful to watch TV in bed in the winter. I am easily pleased lol0 -
Hope you manage to keep your budget down cod it's easy for it to snowball, I still need a curtain pole and laundry basket but feel I've been spending way too much, suppose once they are done it's finished though.Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I'm doing a risotto too with sausages (half price). Seemed like a highly skillful dish to eat whilst watching Bakeoff!
