    Morning :)

Hope you all got some sleep last night - it sounds like you might not have :(

I'm still struggling with getting the mess in my house under control - it just seems never ending atm - i tidy then i have more stuff to move then i need to tidy again. Its really driving me mad right now :( I now have a bookcase sitting on its side in my hallway with boxes sitting on top of it.... bookcase will help sort the mess a bit, but i need to move the boxes upstairs out of the way to put it in place! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!

    Plan for today then:

Move any boxes/bags of paperwork and general stuff that i want to keep but need to sort out into a corner of my bedroom. done :)

Move some more boxes of stuff for selling into the selling/craft room. done :)

Bring in and fold clean washing - done :)
Put clean washing away - done :)
Hang out washing i put on before bed last night - done :)
    Wash dishes - done :)
clean sticky jars and candle glasses - done :)
    Put dishes away
    tidying living room again
    tidy kitchen again

go for a walk to give myself a break in the afternoon - done :) i went to the beach, took some pics, had a paddle in the sea and added the pics to my blog when i got home :)

Thats it for now, hopefully i will feel a bit better once thats done :)

    Have also:

phoned DLA - done :) but got my dates wrong for payment due :(
stripped bed and now washing :)
    tidied bedroom :)
put stash of empty boxes into loft - i need them for posting ebay stuff but at least they are out of the way for now :)

    xxxxx

I managed to get quite a bit done yesterday the clutter in the living room/kitchen seems to be finally under control. It's no longer a room i want to shut the door on and forget about just need to move everything from the table to somewhere else.

I didn't get round to completing the test for civil service job so must do that tonight. :)

    Also need to:
    Move junk from kitchen table.
    Mop kitchen floor
    Test fish tank water
    Order bubble envelopes
    Post eBay sales:)
Buy baskets to keep cleaning products in each room (something i read on thrifty's blog)

    updated money blog
took photos of wedding dresses for ebaying
    free bingo
trying to clear out my email inbox - over 5000 in there to wade through :(

I have not posted this week as things have been rather hectic due to me starting a college course on Monday. The first week at college has gone well and I am enjoying the course that I am doing.

I have a lot of things that I need to try and get done this weekend. My positive steps for Saturday:
    1. Spend an hour looking for freelance work:)
    2. Get a quick shower:)
    3. Get all 3 kids up and dressed:)
    4. Print the account paperwork from last month
    5. Print client's paperwork and deliver it to client:)
    6. Take kids to see their dad whilst we are out:)
    7. Do as much of the laundry as possible and try to get caught up
    8. Sort through ironing mountain and sort into bundles:)
    9. Iron any of ds2's clothes that are in ironing mountain:)
    10. Iron any of dd's clothes that are in ironing mountain:)
    11. Tidy the kitchen:)
    12. Sort college notes and do homework for Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday:)
    13. Check Mr A order - scan and put away:)
    14. Check postcode lottery & birthday bingo:)
    15. Sort paperwork for student finances
    16. Catch up with emails
    17. Do some surveys
    18. Look for MSing work
    19. Encourage ds1 to do his homework
    20. Scan and print timetable - laminate
    21. Check ebay account
    22. Make a start on a list of things that need to be done next week
    23. Schedule appointments that have come in
    24. Put clothes away that I ironed a couple of days ago
    25. Tidy the living room:)
    26. Do freelance work that is in for today:)
I think this is more than enough to potter around and do on Saturday x

    Hello everyone.

I have been reading through this thread (not quite finished) and would like to join if possible. I know it's late in the year but feel I could achieve a lot by Christmas.

I have been on a few threads which have helped me to start getting myself sorted, especially the de-hoarding thread on OS but need something to encourage the other parts of my life.

So if allowed my positive steps for the rest of the year are.

    * to pay off my remaining debt
    * to continue with the 5/2 diet and get down to 10 st
    * to continue building my self employed work with the hope of leaving
Job at the end of the next academic year
    * to complete redecorating which has been started and start work on
    other rooms
    * to stock my folksy shop
    * to work on my confidence
    * to get the garden stuffed with veg again at the start of the next
    growing season

    So today I'm going to

Clear the veggie patches and give the a dig over
Do some more decorating in the bathroom
Have a half hour declutter and throw/give away a pile of stuff
