    yey welcome back Suzzzzzz :D

well i have been trying to wreck my brain to think of another wee challenge and i have come up with the idea of us all trying to work on something we have been struggling to get done for one reason or another. It could be its been hard to because of time, motivation, health, moving etc etc but it should be something thats been sort of hanging around for a while in the back of our heads - each thing is personal to us of course so we will all have to have a think and say what our 'thing' is. We can then all help to support each other to do it :) Oh and it might be that we need to work on this thing for more than a week cos it might be a biggie.

I have several things i could choose LOL! so will have to decide on one.

I think we should call this one the support challenge :)

What do you think? have you something you would benefit from getting some support to get done?

    hello steppers,

That x-stitch was a real bleep to frame. I wasn't really impressed with the final product but the recipient seemed to like it so that what's important.

Tidied out the cupboard in the spare room yesterday. I didn't really throw much away, it just needed organising. Sorted a bag of clothes to ebay (Hubby's job as he has a good seller rating) another to charity bin at work, found an x-stitch I'd planned to do Hubby for his 30th (will do for his 40th this summer instead) and found some fridge magnets/keyring you can put your own pics in so going to make them into gifts for his 40th too. I had the great idea of giving him 40 gifts for his 40th - time to get thinking cap on :)

Had massive cooking session on Saturday afternoon.

WOW! I sound like I've been busy for once. There's not a lot to do really. Oh, I even remembered to check my bank accounts! AND I finally cleaned out the fridge.

    Jobs for tonight:

    - <
pamper ikkle kitty who's got a poorly leg
    - check washing on radiators (I may need to put heating on to dry things despite the weather getting warmer)
    - start organising things for weekend away
    - give kitchen a good clean
    - put feet up and relax :)

    ring shop and scan
    one poll - done :)

pamper ikkle kitty who's got a poorly leg - ooh, he's milking it :D
    - check washing on radiators (I may need to put heating on to dry things despite the weather getting warmer) - succumbed and put heating on this morning but got another load out on the line:)
    - start organising things for weekend away - :)
    - give kitchen a good clean - :o
    - put feet up and relax :)

Hubby's out tonight so will clean kitchen tonight. The swelling on kitty's leg has gone down but he's sulking because I won't let him out but the others are allowed. Like kids they are sometimes - He was sat inside looking out of the catflap and one of the other cats was outside parading past it as though to say "I'm out here, ner ner!"

Also need to do the ironing tonight and I'm going to make a start on clearing the back room and organising the craft stuff I fished out of the front room cupboard and dumped in there.

Fairy, my house LOOKS like it's been broken into and trashed on a regular basis, I consider it a deterrent to burglars :rotfl:

LOLOLOL! I know what you mean about cats being like kids and huffing etc - i used to have 3 and they always made me laugh!

My excuse for the house looking so bad is i'm in the middle of sorting out so many boxes of stuff and trying to get as much as possible onto ebay - tidying is a messy business :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh and i think i have decided on my 'thing' for the support challenge. It has to be my desire for weight loss as i have been struggling with it for so long and getting no-where. I weighed myself this morning and am now 10st 10.6lbs which means i've put what i lost all back on again :(

what i think will help me is if i write down what i eat and any exercise i manage to do and maybe some encouragement from you lovely lot. Do feel free to tell me off for eating junk and not exercising too ;)

I have no idea if it will make a difference but willing to give it a go :)

Anyone else have something to work on?

Hi Fairy, I'll join you on a weight loss challenge, I've got a lot to lose - too much really that sometimes it seems hopeless (i'm 16 stone summat and Dr said I should be about 10 stone!) I guess a weight-stepping challenge would make it more achievable.

Didn't clean kitchen as it's recycling day today, rain was predicted and knew Hubby would make a right royal mess lugging the boxes from the back to the front through the house.

Ironing done, weekend packing half done.

    To do tonight:
    - clean kitchen finally
    - pack as much as possible for weekend away
    - put dark wash on
    - lunches for tomorrow
    - take ikkle kitty to mum's (he's supposed to going tomorrow night but he's unsettled at ours after his attack)
    - catch up with bessie on FB chat. I'd call but she's expecting a bad day at work and she talks so quickly when she's annoyed I can't understand a word she says!

Well i managed to go out for a walk along the river which was lovely despite the wind, I did give in to the temptation of a bar of chocolate tho :o. I'm about to have my salad which will keep me going till bedtime hopefully :)
