Property search websites

Stupid question, but when looking to buy a house are there any other decent websites that list houses for sale apart from Rightmove?
Basically, I'm just wondering whether Rightmove should be the only website to consider when house hunting or if there are other websites that I should look at (Primelocation perhaps?).
Thanks

I used Rightmove, Primelocation and Zoopla when I was hunting -think that pretty much covers the market0

I think if you are in Scotland it may be slightly different but in the south east I've never seen a house listed on any of the minor sites that wasn't on rightmove.0

In E&W - Rightmove, Primelocation, Findaproperty, Zoopla and any individual agents' sites for the area you're looking at.
In Scotland, as the poster above said, a totally different set of sites to be looked at. Will post these only if asked, because the last time I did, someone clicked Spam on it ....0 -
A few years ago, some agents in predominantly rural West Wales, tried to avoid the cost of Rightmove and didn't subscribe, or stopped subscribing. I had to do some individual serches to catch them all.
Now, due to market conditions, I see just about all of them on there, with the exception of the Smallholding Centre, which is a niche market seller.
It's probably similar elsewhere.0 -
About Zoopla; Is there any way of filtering a search only down to detached properties?0

More Options, and put 'Detached' in a a keyword?0 -
Zoopla has recently taken over Prime Location, Findaproperty and Globrix.0

I think zoopla is better than rightmove. It's easy to do a search for something specific, unless I've missed something on rightmove lol.0 -
I found one completely by accident - have never seen it advertised or mentioned anywhere. it is:
http://homes.trovit.co.uk/
Just put in the town/village/area in the search field together with any other keywords, for example, Newquay seaview. It will take you to a list where you can further refine your list with price from/to, number of bedrooms etc etc.
I have found loads of properties when searching that are not on the two big sites. I find the ability to keyword search as being the best advantage.
