  • Have only just received my order placed in December. This is the fourth time I've ordered from them, but must admit I was a bit disappointed with some of the items this time and will be returning several. As always, very pleased with the storage bags, so will probably stick with them another time.

ordered on 31st still says printed. Very slow:(
For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.

My order came really quickly and I'm delighted with what I purchased. Particularly the 50s advent calendar - only card, but strong and if looked after will last years. Also the spaceboy rocket pens (saw these pens in a shop in town yesterday at the full RRP) they'll be a fab party bag filler for my sons friends at his birthday party :)

I've just come off the phone from them now after placing an order at the beginning of the week which I needed for the end of next week. Their website stated "orders are currently being despatched within 5 working days this is due to the high demand of orders and popularity of the sale" when I received confirmation it said then 7-10 working days so I emailed to query it, I would have been ok if it was despatched on the 7 or 8th working day but it would be too late on the 9th or 10th. I've now been told they are working on orders today that were placed on the 31st so mine won't be packed for another 7-8 days and I could only get it by next week if I paid a further £3 in top of the £3.95 already paid. Which I've refused to do.

Yes, there may be a few nice bits on their site but that's appalling customer service and I won't be using them again. So if anyone else wants to place an order just make sure you don't need it for at least another 3 weeks!

Well I have finally had my order today and I think that is too slow when I have had to pay £3.95 delivery.

The lunchboxes, storage bags, charlotte bags are all ok but I am disappointed with other items. Also the storage bags do not look like they will hold as much as I had hoped and I would not pay full price for any of these bags.

Magnets are DREADFUL and 10times smaller than I expected, sewing kits are just rubbish, one lot of metal hearts are all going back as cheap looking, other design is fine. I ordered the large metal tealight holders which are OK at the sale price but not full price and 1 out of 4 of them is damaged. So I am not impressed at all. Also really annoyed (especially as delivery is paid for) that I can only send back by royal mail as I work from home so courier options are a lot handier for me.

As for other people saying they have had bargains for the price well that is how I used to see things but I now think hold on this item is supposed to be RRP, for example, of £10 so I want to think that the item I have purchased is worth £10 and looks nice for that price even if I have only paid say £5 for it.

Overall disappointed as extremely slow delivery. I do have a couple of presents now bought and some storage bags but the rest is being returned and I will not be ordering from them again when the delivery charge is so high as once I add that to the two presents it makes them that bit more expensive. Other places do sell some of rex internationals (who make all the stuff and their retail online store is dotcomgiftshop) better quality items so I will go back to buying those as and when I see them in shops/online I think.

I hope everyone else got some better bits than me :)

Oh dear just ordered earlier today for the first time so guess I can forget getting my order for a while - probably the end of January would be realistic. I am now quite nervous of what the quality will be like! Still have not received a confirmation email from them but did print out before closing site so hope this will not be an issue either. Will just need to sit patiently and keep my fingers crossed.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Mine took 9 days and I ordered on the 29th. I'm really pleased with mine. I got two of the umbrellas, two storage bags, some fancy sticky tape and a clock and feel like it was all good value for money.

My package arrived today- ordered on Dec 31st, so very slow. However, I suspect they were inundated with orders especially after the 'advertising' they received on this website!

Contents are OK- what I would expect for the price paid (now!!) absolutely not worth full price. Packs of raffia a lot smaller than expected but hopefully each skein will make one flower (for brooch)
Ivory hearts are quite cute- they will get painted up!

The best part of mine is the pack of napkin charms. I bought them for card making and expected 4 charms, instead 12 crown charms! Which will make a lot of "Little Princess" cards!!
