Hi guys i bought a 4s on orange, i previously but anthr 4s on the orange brand as coz its ee the virgin mobile sim worked in their no problem. i tried it in this phone and the vrgin sim doesnt work only orange sims work. any advice for it to work with virgin mobile also ive heard it costs £20 to unlock through orange is i never took out the contract myself can i still get this done thanks

how do i get the 4s unlocked through orange as ive bought it of someone who was on contract, can i still do this service even through i never took out the contract myself.

You must be a current or previous Orange customer.

Is this not clear?

That said, I think for a current customer it would be much simpler.

just had a word with orange they wont unlock the phone for me they need the person that took out the contract(im not in contact with him) and add £20 to his bill. i told them just create an account and charge me £20 but they wont do it. any suggestions ??

Suggestion one: become a PAYG customer for 3+ months.
Suggestion two: ask the previous owner.
Suggestion three: pay £50sh on ebay.
