Honestly would not have it ever again, it's awkward to control in as much if I come in and am cold it will be a couple of hours before the temp increase is noticable,
Re: underfloor heating - I thoroughly agree with this, and wouldn't ever have it again either. It costs a fortune to run as well and you're still never really warm enough :eek:0 -
Just been in T's xpress and got a few 6 packs of quavers and wotsits for 38p.
Works out less than 7p a bag instead of the usual 49p a bag.
Thanks to Karen3112 and hukd for the heads up.N1LDA0 -
yippeeee, more positives, thank you
One more positive that I don't think has been mentioned is that you usually have a much bigger loft area than with a conventional house - partly explains why bungalows are usually more expensive. But that it turn means that you can board it out for storage - as we have done - and convert if/when you want to to make more bedrooms. In the meantime I use mine for storing all my loo rolls, lenor, washing stuff..............:D0 -
And if its a policy / store discretion to give a giftcard WITHOUT any form of receipt, then it makes no sense to refuse a giftcard refund just because an APG has been used. At least it proves it was a purchase and not nicked
That's what I don't get at all. Try asking for a refund (on a gift card) with no receipt at Tosco and you will probably get thumped by the dragon at CS, put in a trolley and then pushed into the car park where you will get picked to pieces by velociraptors and triceratops! The CS at my store are evil.
I took some Vaseline Retro tubs back recently which I got with an APG thinking she will kick me out and tell me "no can do". She didn't even take the receipt out of the bag. She just gave me a full cash refund there and then. She actually gave me £12 but I told her it was on offer at 2 for £8 and gave her £4 back.
If Sada give refunds, in cash or on a gift card with no receipt, then it's very dodgy. You could buy stuff cheaper at Mr Shoes, or Tosco or Sainsbob, then take it back to Sada for a refund and no one would know. Not that I am suggesting for one moment that anyone would do this mind.
PS. Sada frozen haddock fillets were on reduced to clear at my local from £3.25 to £1.50. Bargain if you use these. Not as good as fresh fish, but perfect for fish pies and Mimi's spicy fish cakes.0 -

It's bliss coming into the kitchen in bare feet when its freezing cold outside but the tiles are toasty and take the chill off. In fact, I've got no socks or slippers on now, rarely wear them anymore.
And it's quite economical for us (ours is hot water underfloor heating) so it only comes on twice a day for half an hour at a time but retains heat so much. Love it :T
I dont plan to move house for about 30 years anyway so its a good job i love it :rotfl:
Sis calling me for a chat so back later xx
Blimey, all this saving has really helped ....... how many glitches did it take to buy your stately home !!!!

No comp at the moment, but looking at stash pictures its either Woopsiequeen or FK and woopsiequeen is part of the coven and would not be too far to move. Artha is over there today raiding he never said he was but he will be :rotfl:
Not so much raiding as "laundering" a few things off my home turfand popping into Hartlepool Boots for sunscreen as someone had emptied Teesside Park:mad:
Also did a bit of "laundering" at N+wton A;)
Anyway I thought that your freezers were full..mine are.. so I only top them up from time to time now. One of our 3 fridges is getting a bit low though and needs topping up with whoopsied fruit ...is your sada any good for whoopsies?Awaiting a new sig0 -
