How do you know they are from Darlo and not locals ?
    matching shoes ;)

Oh, getting like that is it? At least I don't come from somewhere where the football season starts and finishes in August:rotfl:

Actually someone got talking to them and they said they regularly make the trip here to SOT. There is also another family that come from the boro to SOT:)

  • Well it finally happened! I knew it was only a matter of time.

I had two 'members'.....actually thats a pretty good term for them as it happens who contacted me last night. This was odd in itself as neither of them talk much and to have them BOTH appear within moments of each other raised my eyebrows somewhat.

Well they both then proceeded to tell me how the other one had been nicked by the police for printing numerous APG's over and over again and how the scoundrel had dragged them into it! What they fail to realise is people DO remember things, even people with useless memories like mine! So its not wise to claim innocence when you've actually admitted to the person you are talking to that you are up to your neck in it! Second culprit was even boasting at a car boot sale to another MSE'er about what the pair of them were doing. I'm not sure of ALL of the facts but it would appear one has accepted an official police caution (his own claim) and the other is still under investigation and has had his home raided and lots of 'stock' removed.

I won't be answering PM's asking who it is, in fact I won't be answering PM's on the subject at all, but I just wanted to draw your attention to these events given what a hotly debated topic it was a while back!

Please try and stay the right side of the law people, we don't want anymore MSE'ers with criminal records! :(

No matter what it looks like, if you have a radiator with the correct BTU for the room size it will do the job:)

Correct. On another misunderstood theme, I'm having some radiator covers made and didn't want any grilles on the front. Just wanted a shaker style finish in oak to match other things. The joiner was very puzzled by this as he couldn't understand how the heat was going to get out. Had to explain about properly designed gap at the top and bottom and convection does the rest:cool:

Timed it right for some whoopsies last night.
Had already gone round and bought what I needed, then OH said he would wait if I wanted to wait for whoopsies. Did not realise they now take all the stuff away then bring it back out. Someone said they have to ticket it all in alphabetical order  They must have been pulling my leg.
Took a pic for you all to admire, then forgot not put on laptop yet and deleted it. Doh
Anyway I got a chicken fillet, 2 x southern fried chicken gourgons (these were 2 for 5 and took off £1) 2x salmon fishcakes, Stewing beef, pork loin steaks and haddock gourgons. I think the pork and chicken had the 2 for £7 or 3 for £10 offer as another £1 came off.
Lucky I went to a young lad as I didn't even think about the extra multibuys coming off and hadn't picked up anything else, only whoopsies. Lucky I didn't get another one in the 3 for £10 offer, as I only paid 28p for the lot :T:T
Not that I could have got another one, it was a little bit busy and I felt sorry for the young girl that had to bring it out, as one lady in particular would not wait for her to put it on the shelves and she dove into the crates. I was stood right next to her and I thought to myself - you are not getting it all and I offered stuff to other people stood there. I was happy with the few bits I got, but not sure I will be in a hurry to do it again.
  • Will catch up later, hope everyone is doing ok. Just wanted to say my local sainsbobs has just re-stocked the Christmas bits. Two cages bought from out the back, some of which I haven't seen reduced the past few days. Bought some lovely Hurricane Vases, they had them in gold, red and silver, 21cm high and very good value at £2 each. I also bought some large pillar candles (150 hrs burning time) in matching colours, these were £1.50 each and look great inside th hurricane vases. Might be worth popping back to your local store as they may have also put more stock out :D

I posted before about the Bob Martin no rinse shampoo (Lavender flavour) reduced from £4.50 to 50p (on clearance shelf) 150ml BC ends 105243, today I got the Flea Shampoo, also 50p BC ends 901104.

Great thank you Hampys cheers for that, I put some of the Bob Martin no rinse lavender shampoo on Bear, Pixie and Truly after their walk and we all both dozed off on the sofa for an hour after my migraine! I may wash my hair it in tonight to get a good nights sleep :rotfl::rotfl:

Wrap the tins of ff's and other xmas left overs in lots of layers of clingfilm then tied up in carriers - by the time you have unwrapped them you have soon got bored! :):)
