CoT sorry to hear about your soup:eek:
There are 2 really easy onion soups. Cream of onion and French onion.
Would you like a recipe for one of them? Or have you had enough of cooking for now:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Anyway another up date on daughters future m-i-l who is still in ICU, I think they tried to bring her round but she didn't respond earlier, wont breathe on her own. But she did blink when asked to tonight so she is responding a bit better.
The surgeon came to see her yesterday and tommorow she is going to have her surgery - I don't think they know exactly how much will be amputated yet but it will be some fingers at least. I don't suppose they can wait much longer if they have had no blood flow since Saturday they could cause more blood poisoning if left.
It's odd the things that really shock you to the core but the surgery and the though of the worst case amputations I am finding really upsetting,
when she fully wakes up and then realises what's happened, goodness how she is going to take it. But she has fought her way through this since the weekend, so she must have a lot of fight in her to get this far.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Just been trying to get into (not literally:)) freezer in garage, well started several hours ago. Stash in garage is totally out of hand and can only just walk down the centre, sideways.
In order to open freezer had to move two huge towers of tins and jars, but nowhere to put them and too heavy for me to shift.
Found something leaking as some soggy cardboard boxes, but too much stuff in the way to get to the culprit and nearly got stuck when back gave out on me and I ended up in a heap on the floor
Somehow managed to extract myself, but got a bit of a scare and need to think seriously about buying anything else, must not ,must not.
Oh, just checked yesterdays APG,s £10.21 on 6 receipts, best £4.71..... but can't buy anything else..... not for a day or two
Forgot to mention Saisbugs had the Giant Foil Turkey Trays down from £1.50 to 10p yesterday, not seen these mentioned - find they come in for lots of other things during the year.
 Sounds like a mighty stockpile you have there!May: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155

Evening all:A
Havn't been on today, had hospital. Steroid injection x3 into my neck. It hurts now:(
Question: Is the Mr shoes 75% sale starting tomorrow? If it is does it go online at midnight? How much stuff is left in the Norwich stores?
Thanks very much, please and thankyou:D
hi
i think they are rumouring 75% should be next wednesday
as for Nch stores chapfield has 3/4 rows left inc cards wrap and small sets of most stuff nothing toys or kids i dont think. cast/mall had shrunk to less than half of what was there last week they hadtaken over lots of the shelves today with what looked like getting ready for sun lotion swim suits andholiday stuff but they still had couple of isles of alsorts of random stuff.
was there a particular brand etc you were after i might remember if i saw it somewhere today (feel free to pm if that is easier as this thread is speedy at the best of times)
hope this helps you a little and you never know i may see you there next week (after schoolrun)
