it's not a misprice, it's just a reduction (in most stores) because they have too much stock of it and need to clear it. My friend's daughter told me about it as she works at M&S and there's also a bit about it on hukd here.

It's actually marked on the shelf as £1 in my local.

yes, not a misprice as bodacious says. It's an overstock reduction, that's all, and won't be in all stores as it depends on their stock levels.

No the £6 offer didnt work as well there wasn't many there and the shelf ticket was £4.19 staff may be too busy to change it or didn't know
