I'm sure that I read some time ago that someone had tried and it didn't compare. If I remember rightly, it was considered to not have worked because it was the day of price changes in S's.

Its certainly working today on an A v S comparison shop .

Says they're not to be used with the 100ml hair remover but I know a nice SA on Self-Serve in Adsa who'd put anything through :):)

Does it? Oops  I felt so happy that I was brave enough to use an Internet coupon in adsa that I didn't look at small print. The sa obviously didn't either :)

    Hi There
I've been a subscriber to MSE for years now but only actually posted for the first time as I was caught up in the Norfolk Hamper disaster before Christmas.
Anyhoo to cut a long story short could any of you lovely people on here help me out? As my New Year's resolution I had planned to put any money that comes back from my APG's on a gift card to spend the following Christmas as I;m sure I'd read you could do this. I went with my first one of 2013...all £4 something of it and the CS assistant told me no! Have I just imagined this is possible?

    Thanks Guys
    x

you cant directly take the voucher to put straight on card but if you got shopping and then asked for a x amout on gift card (simmlar to apg amount if apg is 4.00 id ask for £5 gift card they will do that then hand over your shopping money and apg then the gift card will be credited

Afternoon FK, how did you manage that?!

Actually I have no idea! All my stuff is online so I guess theres no admin fee or only a small one. I knew the new car was a couple of groups lower than the old one (group 4 as opposed to group 6 I think) but didnt expect money back. I guess it means the next renewal shouldn't be too hideous either.

it used to be okay but they changed the t and cs so you now can not do so

You can always buy a clothing item or similar with the APG and return it to CS for a refund (wrong size). My store sometimes very kindly coughs up a cash refund but usually the refund is put on a gift card. They just cross through the item thats refunded and, as long as you don't get a refund on one of the 'comparable items' on the APG you are still able to get the full refund. CS confirmed that I wouldn't have any problems and they were right.

Just been to T's and actually hit it at the right time for whoopsies :)

The only thing is that I didn't get the extra discounts like you would on 2 for 7, 3 for 10 etc. :( Can anyone tell me if it only works on some? Or is it because I used a hand held scanner?

    TIA
