    Hi There
I've been a subscriber to MSE for years now but only actually posted for the first time as I was caught up in the Norfolk Hamper disaster before Christmas.
Anyhoo to cut a long story short could any of you lovely people on here help me out? As my New Year's resolution I had planned to put any money that comes back from my APG's on a gift card to spend the following Christmas as I;m sure I'd read you could do this. I went with my first one of 2013...all £4 something of it and the CS assistant told me no! Have I just imagined this is possible?

    Thanks Guys
    x

What you need to do is when you do your shopping ask the SA to put x amount on a giftcard for you, then let them scan the rest of your shopping and pay the bill at the end with your APG by which time they will have forgotten you put money on a giftcard!

Some chat will probably help along the way too, and remember, choose your SA wisely because they don't have to do it...the key is distraction lol!

I've done it 3 times (once for £20) and not had an issue yet...
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

    Evening all:A

Havn't been on today, had hospital. Steroid injection x3 into my neck. It hurts now:(

Question: Is the Mr shoes 75% sale starting tomorrow? If it is does it go online at midnight? How much stuff is left in the Norwich stores?

Thanks very much, please and thankyou:D

Oooucchhh, I feel for you, I had to have steriod injections in my wrist for carpal tunnel and the nurses had to pin me down, cause it hurt so much. Needless to say I never went back, was supposed to have them every 3 months, ended up having the operation not that its worked.:eek::eek::eek:

If I remember rightly the 75% sale is usually around 15/16 Jan, my DS birthday is 17th and it is usually same week.

I used to have them in my coccyx. It is the worst pain I have had. In the end I also opted for surgery and had my coccyx removed.

I'm sure that I read some time ago that someone had tried and it didn't compare. If I remember rightly, it was considered to not have worked because it was the day of price changes in S's.

Well I'm willing to be guinea pig :D just hope they have some in store!

well done in sainsbobs. I haven't been today. I went to T's M&S and sada instead. I got zero from my sada wombles today:eek:

In T's I bought: ariel stain remover, 3 lenor infusions and 2 welches (thanks to RootedN for the link to the welches moc:)) and paid 30 odd pence after lenor mocs, welches moc & ariel moc and I had a PP for £2 odd:) I lost £1 though as it must have fell day the back of the bags when my change came out on SS tills!

    In M&S I used another £5 off voucher. This time I bought 3 x £6 frozen fish on 3 4 2, bag of pears and 2 pks grapes on 2 4 £4 . Paid £12.45

Me, but I'm not totally impressed with it, I think it only cleans as well as my Oral B electic which cost about £14.99, I would be totally unimpressed if I had paid the retail price for it:(
