Evening everyone. Squiggs - sorry for your loss. I am finally here and going to catch up with this thread (you all seem to have written a lot, even without my help). I might be here till gone midnight at this rate.

If you've posted in the last 24 hours, you may well find my answer to your question coming up in the thread soon (over the next couple of hours...).

I've returned from M's (some time ago now) this evening and I can confirm that, as from today, the Kellogg's 750g Crunchy Nut are on 'half price' offer of £1.57. Looks like the offer is until mid-February.

Whilst there (for the non-comparable bread - unfortunately some of my family refuse to eat shortdated bread. I know: even when it's perfectly fine, in date and can go in the freezer...!!!), I ended up walking through other aisles. So, as for other items perhaps to put with your Crunchy Nut in Sada, details coming up.

Thanks Savvy - just ran out of crunchy nuts after the fab apg run last year, wish I had bought more but focussed on the more expensive mueslis that hubs likes and guess what he decided to eat the crunchy nuts and left the muesli so I need to restock

    Good night all

Guess it would be quite easy to track a credit/bank card for them.
Are they bothered ? who knows ?

For everyone of us there will be 1000s of muggles out there buying the same things week in week out no matter what the price, because they walk round 1 supermarket with their eyes shut. Dont notice/remember the prices from the previous weeks and if they spot a bargain they buy 2

I am either brave or reckless as I have always used credit card and club card for all transactions :o.

I went to Morrisons last week on the 2nd and the had bertoli gold on offer for £1.20 so I bought one! well by the time I got through the checkout I was in a rush to get my bus so I didn't have time to check my receipt. when I arrived home on checking my receipt they had not only charged me the full price of £2.40 but I had been charged twice so I rang the store and they advised me the next time I was in the store to go to CS so that's what I did today and the explanation I was given is the offer had ended on the 1st but they hadn't removed the sign so I was refunded the £1.20 and the £2.40 for the one I didn't buy should I have expected some kind of compensation as they do in Tesco or is that the normal for Morrisons.

Morrisons dont give anything for compensation like tesco and asda, well, my store never has, i even asked once and was told they dont. :(

    Evening all.
I've been to Tesco tonight for the first time in over a month and I was really pleased I did......as I discovered that just down the road they have opened a Home Bargains. :j This is the first one Ive heard of that's been opened in the West Country

I know lots of people have posted finding really good stuff in there so I'm hoping to go next week when I have more time and have a really good mosey. I did bag a couple of the oven pride cleaning kits for £2.99 each which is a real bargain and that stuff is fantastic! you just shove everything in the bag, pour the solution on, leave it to work then just rinse off.

Hit whoopsie time for the fruit and veg in T's too, which will help with my diet which Ive started today (again :o)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Me too, but I know the law and if they even tried to look into anything of mine they would have a very nasty shock.
People need to be firm with this sort of thing, they have no right to track you, cc points ok as its a marketing thing but asI said before, the data protection act is quite clear and even banks are not allowed to look into anything without due cause and these things are tracked and monitored for our protection.

I have heard of 3 people in the last week or so who have had encounters over CC points gained from the GTA 500 points thing. 2 I read about and one I heard of from a Ts employee.....
