Just back from a traumatic vet appointment with my GSD
They tried to do an anal examination ( sorry if TMI ) even though I said it wasn't a good idea , poor dog was screaming, I was sobbing , even OH was upset.
In the end they agreed it would be best to have him in for the day and do it under anesthetic next week.
I won't go into detail about his condition but he has Anal Furunculosis and is a GSD disease.
Sorry , had to get it off my chest , I am still shaking , I can't bear to see him in distress.

It is horrible to see them in distress - hope that you are all OK now

My long post [no 8297 at 11.01pm] with all the M's offers I can remember from tonight is now finished: I've just remembered the Princes tinned pies.

These are now back to £1 in M. On the Steak n Kidney version, I noticed there is now a crossed out individual price of £1.89. They were on any 2 for £3 offer last week, so if you bought 2, the price equivalent would have been £1.50 each. Hopefully you didn't however - this was the end of the three weeks or so when they were pulled out to the front of one of my M stores with the multibuy offer available on them. The week before that period (when I bought one in A) they were £1 each. Back to £1 each in M now, folks,... and I didn't see them at the front of the store.

I can't see a saving of 89p for me (maybe there is for some people, who bought 1 last week in M). To me, it's a price increase of 10p if I buy them in M today compared to what I paid (after APG) for them last time. (I'm missing something though.) I'm off to A, for my next Avs M comp. later on in the week.

Well ES picks up his car tomorrow after work and we are going to have to have a few hours driving together as he past his test 18+ months ago but the insurance was something just under £5000 on a group 1, so he has not been driving since.
Now its only £950 on a group 3.
Paid for the car and insurance out of 18 months savings so no extortionate interest ;)

Hugs to Squiggs and that is a lovely picture of your sweet dog.

Celebrate, your post is lovely :)

Back to busy work... see you all in the morning!

ps. got some good things at S today- and the good stuff was in completely random places- luxury crackers (with a more expensive SEL) in with clothes and kitchen pots... It's like a treasure hunt ;)
  • A CC is a very dangerous thing-it is a tracker and should only be used if one wants to be tracked. I am afraid of things that track me:eek:

Holy c%^p I am never using mine again!
