    Hello everyone:wave:

Today was the first time I have been to the shops for over 3 and half weeks:A:A:A. After a MAJOR trouting in an unnamed Tosco store:eek:, subsequent investigation left me vindicated  I am too traumatised to go near a T's or an A's. Sadly can't say more about it as still an ongoing investigation but would just say to peeps to watch their backs with CC use. :(:(

A CC is a very dangerous thing-it is a tracker and should only be used if one wants to be tracked. I am afraid of things that track me:eek:

I reported it earlier (as there is a £1.20 voucher on Shopitize app not available at M, so thought it would be a good one to buy in As once it is matching on APG, but see my earlier post about Mince Pies - not sure how the Shopitize app is matching but even though on the receipt it doesn't see it?).

Anyway, I saw Crunchy Nut Cornflakes offer reported on:
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/kellogg-s-crunchy-nut-750g-big-one-1-57-morrisons-1431684

    Anon

NI readers please skip this post as it relates to comp. vs Morries again I'm afraid...

The Crunchy Nut 750g are £1.57 from today at M. So this may be a good idea to get and an excellent one if the Shopitize voucher is still in date (not sure what date it runs to). I've now ended up here late tonight: but, had I been here a little earlier tonight, I may have added don't rush out to A just yet as, when I did a Mon. shop vs M, apparently I did my shop - in the evening at 8pm!! - before the APG price collectors collected their prices the same day (and, therefore, my shop was correctly compared to the previous day's prices).

It didn't involve Crunchy Nut, but I think just wait a day till your shop to help ensure the prices have been updated on the system. Best idea probably, shop on Tuesday but wait a further two days before you compare.

I can't say if it will appear on APG at the correct M price. Last time I tried, when Crunchy Nut was on half price at M, the APG returned N/A but Sada HQ CS did sort it out. Sometimes the price scanners pick up the full price even though the half price offer is on - in this circumstance I would normally say perhaps (as the M offer isn't being promoted as lasting for just a week) wait a couple of weeks for the offer to be established and stand better chance of hitting the APG, although: (a) this is too tempting, esp. if the Shopitize vouch. is up soon, and (b) it is a disappointing wait.

I think best to go this week (safer tomorrow, later in the week you always risk the possibility some of the other prices below may have changed in M by the Wed. collection date) and as there aren't any glitched prices, I'm fairly confident Sada CS will give a gift card if the APG fails to pick up on the half price. Your Shopitize voucher will, I think, just show as a manuf. coupon and it's still valid as, if you could have used it at M, you would have paid 1.57 minus 1.20. As the voucher isn't valid for use at M, there should be no problem with using it in A.

It appears that M have been listening to what I've said on here: The M Conference Pears, this week, are now back up to 800g (but sadly the A ones are now down to 600g, so outside 10%: prob. won't compare - or even com-pear (sorry)).

Whilst in M, I saw the following - from memory - I'm going to give the A equiv. and then the M prices (as far as I remember them - should be quite accurate but if there are any out, it'll be by a few pence, I'll correct this when I do a proper check on Wednes.):

A SP Apple Pies (6), 50p; Nestle Aero Biscuits (7), 77p (there are three versions in M - Original, Peppermint, and Orange - only the Original version is showing when I'm logged in on MSM but all three of these are showing when I'm logged out whatever this means); Jacob's Club (8), 87p (Fruit, Mint, or Orange); Fox Party Rings 125g, 54p; A SP Sage & Onion Stuffing 85g 15p; various Haribo singles 10p each; Loose Bananas 68p/kg; Maryland Cookies 230g, 69p (three versions - Choc Chip, Double Choc Chip, or Choc Chip & Hazelnut); Frozen: A SP Peas 1kg £1; A SP Mixed Veg 1kg 75p; A SP Chicken Breast Fillets 1kg, £4 (but I'm waiting for the offer on the Plusfood Alyn Valley CB Fillets 600g in T to end on 21/1 first and possible DTD esp. as there's currently no room in my freezer); Nestle Lion Pop Choc 140g £1; Cadbury Double Decker, 4, £1; Cadbury Flake 4, £1; Cadbury Twirl 4, £1; Cadbury Crunchie 4 £1; Cadbury Bourneville 4 pk £1; Cadbury Picnic 4, £1; Cadbury Crunchie Rocks pouch £1; Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Cornflakes 750g £1.57 (hurray!!), cuddly toy... (no), erm, decided now waiting till after 13/1 as T have Weetabix 48 down to £3; oh the milk 4pts on any 3 for £3 (needs rechecking Wed - should be okay if shopping on Tues but pick 3 x A 1% Fat version as Semi-skimmed has been returning N/A vs M on APG); A SP Raspberry Swiss Roll 25p; A SP Vanilla Swiss Roll 25p; Young's Flipper Dippers (10) 82p (highlight this as I haven't seen it below £1 for prob. at least a year); Princes Pies 425g (three versions: Chicken & Mushroom; Steak n Kidney; Minced Beef & Onion); A Ibuprofen Caplets (16) 28p; A Paracetamol Tablets (16) 15p.
Added 8/1/13: Tetley Teabags (160 pack, 500g) £1.99; Heinz Tomato Soup (4x400g multipack) £1.67 (soup offer limited to a maximum of 3).
Added 9/1/13: Bavaria Lager Shandy 6x330ml £1; Scrumpy Jack 4 x500ml £3.50; Mr Kipling 6 Viennese Whirls 65p; Fox's Butter Crinkles 200g 54p; Fox's Ginger Crinkles 200g 54p; A CBY 2 Breaded Cod Fillets 284g £2; Chicken Tonight 500g - following versions: Creamy Mushroom, Silician Inspired Sauce, Honey & Dijon Mustard and the two French Country versions (the one with White Wine and the other with Red Wine) 99p; Bisto Shepherds Pie 375g £1; Aunt Bessie's Rusti Mini Rosti 700g £1; Cadbury Brunch Bars (6) - Raisin, Hazelnut or Chocolate Chip 99p (ends 13/1); Air Wick Scent after Scent Plug In Refill White Vanilla Bean and Purple Lavender £4.10; A SP Chocolate Mini Rolls (6) 40p; A SP Vanilla Mini Rolls (6) 40p; Levi Roots Reggae Reggae Cooking Sauce 350g 99p; Levi Roots Reggae Reggae Rasta Pasta 350g 99p; A SP White Tissues (225) 65p; the usual stalwarts: A SP Peanuts 200g 48p; A SP Fruit & Nut Mix 200g 56p; A Toffee Popcorn (freshly baked) 200g 2 for 1.35; A SP Crumpets (6) 37p; A SP 12 Fairy Cakes 60p
  • I have had a reply from Tesco via facebook regarding the rtc items comparing at full price on the pp.
They send their apologises and a £10 giftcard is on it's was to make up for the money I lost.

Tbh I think the pp is way beyond their understanding and that they don't know how to fix it. I have told them I will stop using the self scanner and return to putting my rtc stuff through as a separate shopuntil they have fixed it.
I love the self scanner but as I go shopping alone I can't do a split shop using one.
Will have to have a word with customer services in store to see if I can collect my whoopsies on the way round and pay separately at the end.

Just got my price porkies from yesterday's womble at T's. Got a few for under £1, but I don't know if they are worth the ink. LOL. Best one was for £2.38 on a £277 spend:eek: I didn't get anything back from one of the sadas I went to, despite getting lots of receipts! Peeps buy all the cheap items in p*ark R*yal :rotfl: definitely one to avoid in future!

Off to bed now. Really wanted to catch up tonight, but it's been a long day. I plan to do a big catch up tomorrow as it's my day off:)

    Night, Night lovely elite:)

    Hi Celebrate
glad to see you again, hope all is well with your family etc.
did u get to see my post about waiting lists..... I wondered what you thought about my take on the time from GP to consultant.
My GP writes some weird letters but they always get good results, what is your take on it or aren't u allowed to comment?

Anyhow, happy new year, lets hope its good for glitches and will get your glitching mojo back soon :)

i kind of skimmed it, from my understanding your husband was sorted very quickly but COT has been waiting months. TBH its hard to comment becuuse i haven't a clue what is wrong with COT, which department he is under and what sort of scan he is waiting for:o. Waiting lists tend to be longer for some departments than others and can vary between hospitals, neurology is generally one of the worst, minimum 22 weeks even for an initial appointment with plastics and general surgery probably coming up joint second place. There are guidelines for urgent 2 week wait suspected cancer referrals however. Sorry i don't feel i've helped very much:(

I know but thats the confusing thing i never use it with glitch shops or 1p/4p items not that i get many of those these days i think i have new lurkers in my areas, occasionally do coupon shops about 2-3 a month, i'm seriously not that hard core, you'd think they had bigger fish to fry:o but seriously it hasn't been a pleasant few weeks, very upsetting and seriously not worth it

I have an early start tomorrow, i'm logging off before i get tempted into chatting for hours lol, night all xx
