I do think they have bigger things to think about than us.
Now the asda glitch as was well different story some people where pushing it to the max and if it was me I would have made damn sure there was no paper trail.
I know you can go to cctv and all the rest but I would have been wearing my Ethan Hunt mask

Yep, used my credit card there as well (though I did start to think it may be better to pass on the credit card cashback ... and putting three shops through at a time using APGs for almost the full value was probably more reckless than brave!

These Alpen Light bars are rarely on offer, and best I have seen over the past 6 months has been 2 for £3 or, latterly, £1.50 at A. I did of course stock up during the cereal glitch last year. They are one of the few bars on Slimming World (many others have lots of sugar and/or fat in them) so will be very much in demand. I have seen the (not light) Strawberry ones in pound shops, but not the light ones.

I wouldn't buy a competitor 'similar' bar because there isn't anything comparable to those seriously following Slimming World.

£1.50 with 50p off is a very good price.

Aaa... look at the time, gone midnight already!!
In reply, thanks for the reply. I have now looked (two hours ago) at the price histories on MSM, and you are right: the prices are similar to the Granola type cereal bars that don't go much lower than £1.35. The £1.50 price does seem the floor on these, that all competitors (coincidentally!) go.

While going towards writing my Vs M products, I had noticed the Special K cereal bars (roughly 5x23g or 5x25g) were also around £1 or 99p (I forget which) in M. However, there's a slightly better comparator - vs W where they're (some of them) 98p. Thus just under 90p net via the APG.

Therefore, I put forward the Alpen Light (with the voucher in A, appears cheaper in A, subject to a proper M check, and thus buy on a non-PG shop) and also the Special Ks vs W (until 22/1):

    Special K Red Berry (5x23g): A £1.00 vs W 98p
    Special K Double Milk Choc. (5x20g): A £1.00 W 98p
    Special K Peach & Apricot (5x23g): A £1.00 W 98p
    Special K Bliss Chocolate & Raspberry (5x22g) : A £1.98 W 98p

Milk Choc Chewy Delight also avail. (Avs W) but appears to be a 4pack, not 5.
Bliss Chocolate & Orange 5 appears N/A for A, avail. in S for £1 (but does not compare vs W) and W for 98p.

Well hopefully all pans out well or I am even further away from what I was going to buy with it :D.
But if the worst came to the worst after an almighty fight its not life or death have had a good bit out of T and would make sure I got it back one way or another.
That DTD difference looks good, never done it yet but oh would do it big style ;)

On the more selfish front it's possibly the last thing that us exploiters of the crazy price wars might want. The FFetc opportunity came from an over-inflation of the single box price by sada to make the 3f£10 look good. Again from a selfish point of view the more confusion and price changes the better as the systems and staff can't keep up. Just a thought:)

Thanks. Just thought I would quote you to point out the 'thanks' I've added.
