Has anybody got a good recipe for broccoli and cheddar soup, had some at the weekend in Gloucester and was lovely and would like to make some myself. I prefer tried and tested off people rather than searching the net. Many thanks.

Congratulations to your OH. I'm sure you'll find plenty to do! I bet you'll look forward to him coming home too. All the best.

Thank you Mrs J. He's going to be great at it and it will be good for him so I'm really pleased. I just need to get used to him being away again, I've been spoiled for the last couple of years when he's been home a lot more :). I'm sure plenty of things will crop up, nature abhors a vaccuum! :D Thanks again. x
    Hope is not a strategy.

well im back from gp ive not learnt anything new, she's referred me to the nuerologist for ct/mri they said it will be very quick hopefully 2 weeks max...
why is it when you leave the surgery that you think of more questions..

the gp was quite interested in my tounge anyway because its not normal. IVE got a geographical tounge...

if the scans shows its a 1 off fit does that still mean i cant drive or do i still have to wait a year....

Not sure what happens now, but 3 years ago when my DH had a one of fit during a night shift he had to surrender his licence for a year. And then he had to apply to get it back. When he got it back it was a 3 yr restricted licence and he has lost his PSV (bus licence) entitlement for 10 years and will have to retake his test for that if he wants it back!

He also had to tell his insurance co when he got the new licence due to it bing a medical licence!
However all that aside he has never had another fit and apart from a couple of weeks of feeling like he had been beaten up and being shattered he made a full recovery.

going to the library in a minute to get a book then try and search the internet for answers.....(without trying to read to much into it)

so many questions and no answers.

Please refer to DVLA website, it says you must inform them. If you don't you can be fined up to £1000 and prosecuted if involved in an accident.
