well im back from gp ive not learnt anything new, she's referred me to the nuerologist for ct/mri they said it will be very quick hopefully 2 weeks max...
why is it when you leave the surgery that you think of more questions..

the gp was quite interested in my tounge anyway because its not normal. IVE got a geographical tounge...

if the scans shows its a 1 off fit does that still mean i cant drive or do i still have to wait a year...

going to the library in a minute to get a book then try and search the internet for answers.....(without trying to read to much into it)

so many questions and no answers.

a bit later on, give your GP surgery a call and find out if your GP has requested the scan AND referred you to Neurology, or just referred you to Neurology leaving them to request the scan at your appointment.

Hopefully your GP has requested it so that your results will be ready for your appointment, but in my experience, a lot of GP's leave it to the hospital

Please feel free to PM me at any time if there is anything I can help you with :)

Also, the DVLA thing takes time. They have to get a written report from your specialist. In this case, it will be the hospital consultant whom you have not seen yet. When we have been sent the medical forms, they always state that the "patient may still be entitled to drive" So, until you have a firm diagnosis, you will still be ok legally to drive. Only you can decide whether you feel up to it or not

Apart from the hotels there all seem to use those memory foam mattresses, and I just cant seem to like them, find them horrible!

We bought a memory foam mattress a few years ago and paid about £800 for the mattress with the bed so not cheap and after sleeping on it for about 2 months I woke up every morning aching all over didnt think it was the matress untill I slept in the old bed which had been moved to the spare room and I slept like a log so now i always sleep in the old bed which is so comfy and the new one dosnt get used

Apparently these are 330ml cans as well which makes it roughly equivalent to 75p for 2l :T (as long as my maths are correct!) and easier to stack :rotfl:

As an update, I complained to Ts about the reduced meat matching on the Price Promise. They agreed it shouldn't have and are looking into why it didn't work as intended. They have refunded me the difference between what the Price Promise came back as and what is should have been without the meat.

Excellent customer service from Ts (admittedly to resolve an issue that shouldn't have been there if their system worked as it was supposed to!).

I just got a reply from CS too, they're sending me a £2 money card, PP was reduced by £1.51 by reduced item, so happy.

We have an awful mattress that we got from my mam's friend when we moved in. Our last place was furnished so we moved here with nothing. It's lumpy so I can sympathise :(

    Hi all!

Starting a new phase of my life today. DH has officially started his new job today and will be away most weeks, so I need to get into a new routine myself and get used to it again, and find a few more things to occupy my time. (Don't want to get used to him getting up at 4.30am again, to head for the airport though!) I'll have to get more active on the late night whoopsie shopping front, and try to enjoy my new freedom.

Sending positive thoughts to all who are grieving, poorly or facing difficult challenges, things will get better eventually but I know it's tough. Hope you all have the best day you can have, whatever you are doing today.
    Hope is not a strategy.
  • A question for you

When you shine a laser at glass at an angle how come the light reflects and goes through the glass at the same time?

How can photons be in 2 places at once?

    :D

    They split?

Do you have insomnia thinking about those kinds of things late at night?!

If only Dr Sheldon Cooper was here...
