I thought of Patty today when I got the very last Port with Stilton for £1.50. ;)

Like she missed them in her local this year I missed out last year with someone taken them all literally seconds before I got there. There were 3 left in one of my locals this morning not very reduced so I thought I would pop back later in the day. I only just timed it right. :)

David.. So true. I have a few bits and pieces that I inherited from my mam and dad. Some of it has value and I probably would part with them for that reason if I was ever short. Some things, that most people would describe as tat, I would never part with. Things like the wooden handled hooks that mam and I think nana before that used to make hooky rugs and proggy mats. I sometimes hold them knowing that their hands must have spent hours holding them. Gives me a feeling of connection again.

Fairclair Hope you find a way to do what is best for you, both in terms of memories, peace of mind and financially. Where abouts in France is the property?
Hi artha heard about them but thats all :rotfl:

Oh no he's not. I've made several attempts as you well know;) By the way did DM ever do a DM? Don't recall it ever having been achieved yet?

Don't think he has ever made it yet and I'm sure we would not hear the last of it if he ever does. :rotfl:
