    Hi Sally
No we have to leave every year for 1 month, been here 61/2 years should be used to it but hate it :mad:

Where do you go in the one month away - pity the weeks when the week was overflowing does not count :D

Basically as I have both on my doorstep like most down south then there is no benefit whatsoever.

And as the OP was going to Tesco at first anyway i really dont get why she gave it a jump up with joy icon as she is no better off and had to buy a load of crap to get to 8 items.

Not everyone lives down south maybe no tesco etc near them and I did a shop earlier in asda that I needed not thinking of an apg at all and it gave me an apg of just short of £3 simply because asda was not 10% cheaper. Virtually the same but not 10% cheaper :j:j.
Not expecting it and in real life I am not jumping up and down but I am pleased :D

Boots shop earlier today. Got some vouchers from machine in store. :D

    200 point for £20 spend

10% off 2 bubble bath. Got 2 Radox both at half price and !0% came off original price.

20% off 2 shampoo/conditioner. Got 2 Elvive which were both half price - 20% came off original price and I used L'Oreal voucher

25% off No7 Nail Varnish. Got Magnet Nail Polish which was £5.99 and it then reduced to £3.99 and then another £1.99 came off - no idea how that worked out !

Free crackle nail polish with any No 7 product - got that free with the magnet nail varnish above so magnet and crackle for £2.

Well worth checking out the instore machines - made my non-mse day more worthwhile ;)

well done. Good vouchers:) I got nothing from the ACM today! this is for Mr B :p

Hello, and welcome to the thread. It's not your fault the vouchers didn't say 1 per transaction. You aren't supposed to mind-read are you?!!!:rotfl:

I doubt a complaint would get anywhere or achieve much, although other people here may have a different view. I'd stick to using MOCs - quite properly as you have been doing - and if you spot mispricings etc. rather than devoting time to ringing HO over this one.

To be fair to us, and perhaps a little unfair - or probably actually not - to T, even if it had stated (which it didn't) "1 coupon per transaction", that's still a little ambiguous isn't
it? What does that mean? 1 coupon of the same type i.e. the same Xp off the same product, or only 1 coupon in total (whatever it is off or whatever it is, e.g. 'helping hand', CC, MOC), and no more whatsoever, on any single transaction?

I'd probably have got distracted and gone into how "1 coupon per transaction" is unclear and how any ambiguity is read in favour of the consumer under consumer unfair terms regulations. etc., (and after all, "rules are rules"!!!) although at least you kept it simple and the end result was you were allowed to use the coupons.:T

And that's before I'm got onto the technical distinctions over the words "coupon" and "voucher" and, if they accept CC coupons, but not CC vouchers, at the same time as an MOC, then clearly you can use more than one "coupon" per transaction!!

If not, then my other "coupon" would become a "voucher", allowing me to use 1 "coupon" and 1 "voucher" (which isn't a "coupon") against the same shop.:rotfl: That always gets them. Confounds them. They very often don't understand the point, so just take them in the end to avoid a scene-making customer (well, then, simply accept the valid coupons/vouchers/whatever as they should be accepted and don't query it with me if you don't want me to give you an answer:rotfl::mad::rotfl:). However, keeping single, as you did, works better I think.:T

Footnote: Sains, by contrast, clarifies in its T&Cs (of the BM) that a "coupon" and a "voucher" are interchangeable words and mean the same thing. But this isn't a dig at T!!! Promise.:rotfl::D

Thanks, and your right about the ambiguity of 1 per transaction. Hower just to say this was a targeted shop to A's. total spend was 29.43, used 11.00's worth of moc's, 2.65 added to my shopitize account and a pp for 4.61. So feeling fairly pleased.:T

Thanks Sally. I was pleased as had dd with me and she wanted nail varnish so keeping around the £20 to get the 200 points as well as free nail varnish and the discounts coming off the original prices all helps. :D
