^^ The apg does pick up bogof, I had a few things come back last week.

Thanks for letting me know this - they may well have changed it back. But is this on mix and match (e.g. the two different Energiser batteries on A Vs S, recognises S's 2 for 1) or does it pick up 2x the same item and compare A on 2x its price but S at the BOGOF?

Hi, I wasn't surprised to read that they are not matching today because it's possible price-matching to Morries has been suspended this week - perhaps someone can confirm whether this is the case. However, mine compared successfully on Christmas Eve so your post does surprise me. I just double-checked, I bought 8 for £3.50 and got an APG of £3.00. I followed RootedNomad's lead to give credit where it's due.

EDIT - just realised the OP said they have compared to Morries, but ignoring their 8 for £2 multibuy, so who knows.
  • Hope everyone had a good Christmas, just didn't get a chance to hop on yesterday, but have spent the morning catching up :D . RF, saw your lovely photos, so sorry to hear about your lovely cat, bless him.

Wanted to share a photo of my crimbo prezzie from my sis, she's also on this thread (pixiepieface) she had this made up for me, I thought it was hysterical when I opened it up :rotfl: . I bought her a coupon wallet to get her organised ;)

Off to put more food in the oven now as DD1 and her bf are here for late lunch today.

Hee hee sis, was hilarious when you opened them, seeing you face. The picker up was very handy when you picked up all the wrapping paper and how about when your OH acted out Extreme Couponing in charades and I only I got it !!

Also paid £3.50. Could it be the flavours as limited choice so 2xVanilla Yoghurt and Chocolate Balls, 2xBanana Chocolate Flakes, 2xToffee Hoops, 2xChocolate Digestive, all crunch corners and all compared at 60p? Still gave APG against S of 98p but Banana Chocolate Flakes more expensive in S (65p), others 50p.

This just made me cry :(

Blind dog found after snow ordeal

Blind and alone in Alaska winter temperatures that dipped 40 degrees below zero Fahrenheit (-40 degrees Celsius), a lost eight-year-old dog was not given much of a chance to make it home.
But after walking 10 miles to the edge of a local dog yard, Abby the brown-and-white mixed breed was found and returned to her owners, a family that includes two boys and one girl under the age of 10.
The dog that the family raised from an animal-shelter puppy went missing during a snowstorm on December 13, and the family never expected to see her again, The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported.
"It's a miracle, there's no other words to describe it," said McKenzie Grapengeter, emotion choking her voice and tears coming to her eyes. "We never expected to have her to be returned safe and alive."
Veterinarian Mark May said he came across the dog while running his team on December 19, but did not stop to pick her up.
"It ran with us for about a mile on the way home before she fell off the pace, but I had a big dog team so I couldn't grab it," he said. "I said, 'boy I hope it finds somebody's house'."
The next day, the dog turned up at Mr May's house. "Everybody just assumed it was some kind of scaredy-cat, but there it was in front of the door in our dog lot and it was blind," Mr May said.
"It was sitting there, all the way from 14 mile on the winter trail down into this neighbourhood, I guess by just sniffing, so I picked it up and brought it in."
To Mr May's surprise, the dog had no signs of frostbite.
"No frozen ears, no frozen toes, she'll probably go back home and it'll (be) business as usual. She's no worse for wear but quite an adventure," he said.
  • hello everyone

on for a bit of a rant

in true mse spirit bought a hornby train set from tesco during the sales last jan for eldest DS, can't find the reciept and opened the box from Santa and no train, mat or instructions, everything else is still all nicely sealed :mad:
needless to say DS1 is distraught

Next problem , this one all of my own doing, again true mse style, i gave my DSlite to DS1 as well, as I hardly used it only now I can't find the charger, should have thought of that before christmas, now pulling the loft apart trying to find the box it came in to see if the charger is in there
