  • Just had a trip out to M&S and Tesco, mainly looking for a coat. Didn't find one of those, but naughty Tesco had left old SELs out on some phones. Picked up a nice Panasonic KX-TG5522 and they had the cheek to charge me £99 instead of the SEL price of £49.50 :):)

DTD of £99 given with absolutely no argument :):)

Worth looking at the phones as there was one or two others with SELs marked 24/12 on them. Apparently no-one had had chance to check them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I should be asleep - I am in me bed but had to show you this. This made me roar with laughter (from the grabbit board)

Do you think we should tell them this is a price increase on our glitch? By my reckoning the 75p we paid on each of the MTs, together with the Vinnies, will go up to 83.25p on the maximum '75% off' (...and that's assuming people buy the multibuy deal!!!) I think we'll keep this 'secret' to ourselves...

Might be worth a look at Studio site. 3 x 1.5 m rolls paper for 79p.
85% off some Xmas stuff - just ordered a load of paper etc and
some other bits and pieces. hth :)

Excellent find. Cheaper than the value packs.

Please came I ask would Sada recognise this multi buy?

What I am thinking is Sally, 2 velvet s plus 8 of the usual fillers, the APG would be a little on the large size but maybe just about acceptable?...

Very sorry to be rude and butt in - but I don't think they are cheaper than the value packs, since the value packs have 225 tissues (A and T's, M's 226) whereas the Velvet are 80. Noticed that value tissues have gone back down in the last few days at T - from 68p to 65p - so Sada Smartprice now slightly cheaper vs T (except I was looking for them in A a few days back and seems they had all been removed).

I think the APG won't pick up the S 2 for 1 deal - APG hasn't recognised 2 for 1s, 3 for 2s, 5 for 3s etc. since they changed the system to stop the (vs W and others) 3 for 2 glitch. It now returns N/A on all competitor BOGOFs, so the rival's offer has to be in the form "2 for £1", "3 for £2.50" etc. for it to be picked up. Possible to complain to Sada HQ CS for them to 'make up the difference' although whether I'd do that on a Sally shop is a different question...

Evening all, woo new thread, just had quick catchup, not seen this mentioned, I spotted this on darkside earlier:-

    http://m.hotukdeals.com/deals/archos-80-cobalt-tablet-8-8gb-wifi-tesco-instore-49-half-price-1422066

Read some of the comments and thought it sounded good so rushed off to nearest mrT in hope, told they had them when asked but they wouldn't sell me one, she said boxing day as others have said, went to other mrT and bingo young lass said yeah I think we've got them and goes through the back, minute later she returns with one in hand, I'll just see how much it is, with a slightly surprised look on her face (cha ching) £49 comes up on the till, that's lovely says I and shoves the card in. :) The girl in the first store, when asked did say that I should get one if I came in on boxing day, she said they had about 70 of them. I wanted it for to give as a present so happy days.

:T 99p many thanks for posting this xmas eve, was at T's for opening this morning was was lucky enough to get one, they only had 8 in the store! :T

Thank you, just need to set it up now :D
